2017 Forward Conference-Keynote Speaker
I was an invited keynote speaker for the Forward Conference in Washington, DC January 6-8. A 3 day interactive experience featuring 4 keynote speakers and 30 guest speakers provide inspiration and insight on how to move ideas forward, successfully. NBTM the company behind the conference connects individuals of varying ethnicities, socioeconomic levels, life aspirations, and career achievements helping them to hone their ideas and creative abilities, through a supportive, global network.
I had the opportunity to connect and share my journey with young professionals. It was an honor to share the stage as a panelist with Miss Jessie's Founder Miko Branch. As a young entrepreneur it was inspiring to sit next to a pioneer. The weekend was inspiring and I left feeling re-energized. The next Forward Conference is March 2018 in NYC, mark your calendars it will be one you don't want to miss.
Check out pictures from the conference below!
New stuff
I've never really talked about this on here because my followers generally don't talk to me anyway and I felt this would make them not want to even more but I am going to now because of stuff happening. So I am a Christian, like I go to church three times a week and I plan on getting a degree in youth ministry so I can help teens like me who have bad home lives and are suicidal and stuff like I was (I obviously want to help other kids to but I just have a passion for kids that go through similar stuff that I did). And I don't want you all to think I'm like terribly judgemental or something because I'm not, I go to a very contemporary church. My church is actually non-denominational, multi-cultural and very open to people from all walks of life. I am telling you this because on Tuesday June 23 I will be leaving for 6 Days to go to Forward Conference in Atlanta, it's really awesome and this is my third year going. I'm really excited about it and every time I have went my life has been forever changed, so June 23-28 I will not be on much, sorry!

Sun Stand Still.
This past weekend, I went to a Christian youth conference in GA. It was called the Forward Conference and it was put on the Free Chapel Church in Gainesville (I think...).
Umm...Whoa.
At first, intimidation got the best of me. I come from a church that is 30 members strong on a good Sunday. This arena was filled with 11,000+ teenagers and young people. I've never seen anything like it in my entire life. There were people yelling and singing and crying (I even teared up a few times). I felt a bit overwhelmed.
But then I realized that these people were just very in love with God. And although I never expressed my love like many of those people, I loved it and I learned a lot.
All in all, this conference was an eye-opening experience. I think my church might even be interested in attending next year.
I want the sun to stand still in my life. I'm waiting on God to say my name again. I'm carrying my own personal cross, and I will carry the cross for Jesus. I need to show love to people who've never experienced it before. I learned that we need to stop playing church. The church isn't a building, it's a people, and we've got a lot to do before we can really sleep at night. There are people out there who are hurting, who've never met Jesus before, and we need to introduce them to each other and pray for them.
