I just went and saw the Lost Boys on Broadway and in Bryant Park, and HOLY SHIT. Unironically the best show I've ever seen, and I work in theatre.
may post some pics/vids and further thoughts later, but the one story I want to share right this moment was during the Bryant Park performance- me and a friend went to get cold drinks at a nearby restaurant (open field and lots of sun, so very very hot in the park). we got in line inside, and then did a double take.
Because you know who was in front of us?
The entire performing cast of Lost Boys.
We got a picture with them and everything, they were super nice and Maria Wirries complimented our outfits (we're both 80s/90s alt)! It was just a super funny coincidence all around and well timed. Jennifer Duka also recognized me at stage door after we saw the show that night, so that was cool
