from the archive…In 2000, Fossil partnered with Hatch Show print to do a series of watch tin designs and other design pieces. Hatch Show Print is a historically iconic letterpress design shop that became famous from the 1920s-1950s for their country western music show posters, known as “gig posters.” They are currently in the Country Music Hall of Fame®, and highly revered for their cultural impact on American design and music history. Fossil saw Hatch as a natural fit to their American vintage brand, and sought to partner with them for a series of woodblock printed tins.
