character in general: Aubrey is fab! I love him and how very sweet and funny he is :3 (Side note that Bill & Jamie are also beyond excellent. JSYK.)how they play them: You are an amazing writer who still leaves me in awe all the time.the mun: I hear he goes alright... By that I mean is one of my best friends in the world and who I am so so so glad is in my life <3

House Call [with fossilnerd]

The Doctor rang the bell and waited, face a little grave. It was unusual for him to not land directly in the place he wanted to get in, but he owed it to Jack, especially after all that had happened. It felt even stranger to simply wait for someone to open the door like this.

Then the door opened and he smiled as non-threateningly as he could manage, “Hi!” He extended a hand, “You must be Aubrey. I’m the Doctor, pleased to meet you. Jack sent me.”

Aubrey laughed brightly with a shake of his head.  A bit of red had started to take over the tips of his ears.  “You really don’t. I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket with a lid.”

God, Jamie loved that blush, and the way his curls shook. Laughing affectionately, she ran a hand through his hair. “I really do! I know you can’t dance much, but I want you to sing for me so I can dance as if I were dancing with you!”

The museum was something else. She had been to a few, but the sheer size of this one was quite incredible. Wandering around, Riley kept her headphones on, blocking out the outside noise. It was only when she made eye contact with a dark haired man that she took them off, realising he was talking to her. “My apologies, I was lost in my own world.”

Coffee Stains

Rachel was late, late and lost. But she had needed her coffee, coffee with chocolate and caramel and whipped cream. If she had to listen to some boring old tenured professor drone on and on about dinosaurs that lived nobody cared how long ago. Yes she was a history major and was stuck with this required class, great sophomore year. Gratefully accepting her cup of coffee she downed half of it in one go. Okay, time to face the...something. Heading out of the coffee shop she...ran smack dab into someone, spilling her coffee on both of them. "Shit! I am so sorry!!"

Aubrey loved the idea of taking this photography class, it was an extra thing he didn’t mind adding to his class load. Their first assignment was kind of vague but interesting. He had to take pictures of things that just struck him.  Aubrey found that he was taking some pretty random pictures, and then realized that he hadn’t really captured a person yet.  There was just one more day left before the assignment was turned in, so he wandered the campus people watching. Of course it was the hair first that caught Aubrey’s attention, and he found himself slowing his steps. Now he was scrambling for something to say, some way to ask her if he could get her picture. Of course in the end he tried for the direct approach.   “Umm…hi. Could I, I don’t supposed I could take your picture?”  He held up the camera he had been carrying with him.  “It’s for my class.”

It wasn’t out of the ordinary to be noticed by the people around campus; she loved being the center of attention. But it wasn’t usual to be approached by a stranger - at least not by someone like the guy in front of her, cute as he might be.

“For class?” she laughed. “You know, that must be one of the strangest excuses I’ve ever heard. People usually just ask me out, works most of the time.” She poked his chin with a smirk. “Who would say no to such a face?”

What drew me: well honestly it was a recommendation at first, but also I am a sucker for Torchwood related things. Then I started poking around, and reading everything. So I stuck around for an amazing OC concept. (the whole team included)

What drew you to my OC?
