my spontaneous theory that i can't provide proof for rn i just need to get it out UNDER THE CUT
do yall ever wonder where the pieces came from? i might have an answer. so we know everette changed dramatically after the procedure of protocol 14. he talks all the time how forgetting made him look onto everything in his existence from a different point of view. but i dont think he simply underwent an amnesia causing procedure. all of the protocols we know about seem to have this in common - they manipulate people's mind. they can block memories and hold the person back from remembering (e. making andrew ignore his videos befor the lethe protocol). i believe the 14th protocol isn't just that. it literally separates the person from their (unwanted) memories. thats what the pieces are - parts of everettes mind thag hurt too much. without being able to feel these things he saw the world differently. i noticed throughout the series that his way of thinking is very black and white. thats right, he just cant feel complicated anymore. the pieces also resemble him in a way but are distinctive enough. i believe their :0 represent different emotions and expressions, as each of them has a slightly different character: some are more playful while some are more cautious. everette doesn't play by someone else's rules and he doesn't hide or run for his life. there's always a smile on his face and he's in control of the situation. at some point he became so unbothered by being constantly chopped into pieces he made a machine to test his new "runners".
the 14th protocol cant really be bent to your liking, all it really does is cutting of your deceased parts. and, well... we'll just have to wait and see how andrew and chris will deal with this one after descending.
do you guys think that everette actually conciders andrew his friend in a way because all friends he ever had abused him
chris writes everything that is happening around/with him down because he can't trust his sense of reality and memory. real common thing in those who are bipolar to dismiss certain symptoms when they're not in that phase. also the derealization in ptsd patients. does it make sense
the cobblestone , once a sign of human presence , has been long forgotten , hidden under the moss. the earth returned it to its origin. maybe surrounding himself with mossy cobble chris felt closer to earth, to death , foreshadowing the time he himself will be forgotten and taken to peace
maybe he just liked this block tho
no actually i want to say it again. everette wasn't allowed to chat so he speaks in all caps. he wasn't allowed to make noise and be loud so he is literally screaming most of the time. still he was never heard
i always thought the bones were literally chris' bones so
i'm rewatching ag67 and the first bone andrew finds is in a furnace... was chris this cold? oh my god the foreshadowing of "chris froze to death" i'm gonna be sick
also wish me luck im about to cry my eyes out rewatching
i have a feeling andrew wasn't supposed to find this one. chris cares deeply about andrew and wouldn't be so straightforward and cryptic about his feelings at the same time. this message looks like something very personal, like a diary entry — an outsider wouldn't understand it, but the author would. also a two-block space behind a door high enough you have to purposely bridge here? with no lightning? i think this wasn't for andrew to see, it was for chris to hide, perhaps from everette
it's not something important, i just had it on my mind
