Hey, I was wondering if you could talk a little about focus wrt art? I’m an illustrator and recently it’s been taking me all day to do like half an hour of work and I just feel very frustrated about it

i think this is a really big question that’s hard to answer cohesively and i’m still definitely neck deep in finding answers to it. a lot of my stop it series is stuff that i’ve specifically figured out while doing art that i’ve tried to Somewhat rephrase in a vague enough way to be useful in a more general sense, but a lot of it is also more about time management in general than it is abt the Actually Sitting Down And Doing It which i think is a harder concept to give advice on bc so much of it for me STILL seems to come down to “well either i manage to force myself to do it or i don’t, at random”

i’ll try to think of a way to put what’s been working for me for art specifically into words, and kind of try to like. form all my thoughts on this into a meaningful lump lol. do u think maybe something like just going through how i structure my day and the tools i use to keep myself on track hour to hour could be helpful?

oh i don’t even know if you’re talking about the kidfic au. i assume you are. in which case: this is very cute, and also i’m invested in ronan like... growing away from the Stories Of His Youth (alice in wonderland, pygmalion) and finding His Own stories to read to their kids as he navigates his relationship 2 his dead parents. augugughh.
