bucky and bruce both being scarily calm while angry. Like it’s off putting.
The only times tony or peter see themselves as alive and worthy of it is when they’re actively dying.
can only imagine peter’s teachers immediate reaction to finding out he’s spider man. those two that chaperoned. i am so certain that one of the first thoughts was “dammit peter you could have told us!”. They were immediately pissed bc. yeah yeah secret identity but their STRESS LEVELS. they could have had so much more peace of mind about his erratic behavior.
AU in which Peter Parker is spider-man… in the 1940s. He keeps having to break up steve’s fights, enough so that they become friends. Steve manages to get recruited and he has a conversation with Spider-Man about Spidey’s choice not to enlist.
thinking about how most of the fears that wanda shows the avengers in aou is a “celebration” (or seen as one) they don’t get to fully enjoy. the graduation ceremony seen as a positive, but it’s just pain. the party that the war is over, and steve left in the middle of it all but alone and too late to celebrate. thor in a big hall of happy dancing people, but without the ability to enjoy it.
do you think tony after the wormhole was a little like a wind up clock after daylight savings, and everyone else just automatically added “space invasion” into their “things that are normal” list. and tony’s left looking the odd one for operating at the same pace he always has, but something shifted and left him behind. He’s trying to do the mental math and adjust his internal clock but something is wrong and he knows it and nobody cares.
Steve having a conversation with every new person on the team, kindly asking them to do whatever it takes to make him pass out of he dislocated something. Because it will heal in the wrong way, and he does not want to be awake with it healed in the wrong way.
marc getting stressed enough on missions that he instinctively has steven switch in,,, who obviously doesn’t know about the mission. and then marc blaming himself for being too coward to handle it himself.
