So I wanted this posebox, thought it was gone forever 'cause packrat had near to nothing. Remembered someone kindly gave it to me on simblr a good few years ago now so I'm tagging @sims2packrat as Alex Manuel's tag is.... very empty

After a long period of time, I finally came back and dabbled into my Model search again. I ended up finding these two rather quickly.
Yamato’s Miku (On the right) hasn’t been updated since 2010 and was hosted on two sites; Mediafire and axfc.net. I didn’t become a fan of Yamato’s Miku until 2 years ago and it amazes me how many bone’s there are. As for Nigamon’s Miku (on the left), it was a tiny bit more difficult but with a quick search of them on google, I found their distribution page for all their models.
Nigamon’s Miku was an old favourite of mine so I’m glad it’s still around. Sadly this isn’t the case for two other models in the same style. Nigamon has stopped distribution on his Teto and Neru as the site they where hosted on shut down. I do have a hunch they are somewhere on BowlRoll though. The distribution pages for these models can be found here: Nigamon (Password is in the description beside the download link): https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10016426 Yamato: https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm10726764

Anomaro’s Luka (and others too)
I’ve been a fan of Anomaro’s models since I first saw 2008′s Honey video.
I still consider this to be one of my favourite videos and also my favourite use of Anomaro’s models but, this wasn’t last last we would see of Anomaro’s work either.
Anomaro has made stages, Black Rock Shooter models, video game models and of course, plenty of Mech models. His blog still remains up and you can find his latest work on BowlRoll. Unfortunately, he hasn’t made anything for MMD since 2014 and four models in-particular seem to be missing.
The models in question are Megurine Luka, FL-Chan (The mascot for FL Studio), Girokaku (a mascot for a Japanese BBS), and a Miku wearing a maid costume.
Thankfully, 3 of these 4 are what I’d claim to be, a false disappearance. Opening up the zip files for Luka, FL-Chan, and Girokaku alone will only display and extract part of the file.
When I first looked at the file, I was very confused. “Where was the model?” I couldn’t find anything but the 3DS Max version. It was when I opened the zip files in WinRAR that I finally was able to find out where they had went.
Extracting with WinRAR will also give you the complete file too. Unfortunately, I am unable to explain why this occurred. It does teach a lesson however, if a zip is empty, open in WinRAR.
The only model that I have yet to find however, is the Maid Miku. Of course, the 3DSMax model is still available yet if you go to download the MMD model, you’ll redirect to infoseek.co.jp. The one lead I did have didn’t work either so the model is lost.
(image from https://blog-imgs-24-origin.fc2.com/a/n/o/anomarokarintou/MMD_data.htm) Overall I feel happy that all except one model can be downloaded. If you also use 3DSMax, I recommend checking those models too. They are higher quality and higher-poly but still have the classic style. Update on Enamel Models!
So I was browsing Piapro before bed and found a familiar model. It turns out Enamel is still distributing his Hachune Miku model!
I believed for a long time we would never see it again and the MMD wiki said it ended. I was wrong as I just found the new distribution. If you would like to download this model, you can get it here: https://piapro.jp/t/Wkjr
FOUND: Saboten Blog
So, some maybe curious why Saboten is being mentioned and that is because you can no longer access Saboten’s blog by normal means anymore. It must be accessed via the Wayback Machine. While Saboten’s Windows100% models are easy to find and purchase, other models are not as easy to download anymore. Model’s such as Saboten’s Miku and Gumi are only available via their blog as far as I know. Saboten’s blog went down at some point after March 29th, 2018.
To find and download Saboten’s models, you can go here: https://web.archive.org/web/20180329124531/http://wombat3.t4ub.com/?cid=53236
