Science and technology are getting better and better. People now use the Internet more often than before. Even people over seventy years old or younger than ten years old, they can use the computers too. We can do a lot of things with the Internet. For example: watching videos, chatting with friends, buying things, booking tickets, getting information and more. However there are still many things that we should not do on the Internet. For example, we should not download music and videos for free, hack others e-mail addresses, nor abuse the people who we do not like on the Net and more.
Most of the people now have their own computers at their homes, so they can use the Internet very often. For children and teenagers, the Internet is the best way for them to play online games, to chat with friends or to watch videos. Playing online games is a good way for students to relax. However most of their parents do not think so. Most parents think that playing online games is bad for their children’s sight. It will let their test score get worse and worse. Most of the time parents do not let their children play computer games, but that is not right. Appropriate relaxing and playing are good for the children’s health. We should not work all the time. Sometimes it is fine to take a break for ourselves. Chatting with friends is also good. It can improve people’s relationships. We just should not spend too much time on computers or on the Internet. Children should still work hard in school.
For adults, Internet is convenient for them. With the Internet, housewives can buy things without going to the supermarket. They just have to surf the Net and choose what they want. They can also pay bills through the Net. With the Internet, business men can book plane or train tickets faster and more conveniently. With the Internet, people do not even have to go out, because they can do almost everything at home and by themselves.
For everyone, the Internet is also a good way to get information. The Internet is like an encyclopedia, because it has everything about the world. People just have to type some words on the browser then they can get the answers that they want. It is necessary for people to get more information especially for students. The Internet can help people gain more knowledge as well. However, it can also make people excessively indulge in online games. We should learn to discipline ourselves at all times.
The Internet is a convenient tool to most people. It can do almost everything. But people can not excessively depend on it too much. There are many things that people should still do by themselves. For example, children should do their homework by themselves and should not get the answers through the Internet. People always have to do their own works by themselves.
