Should I start pre-learning Java for CS foundations?

You don’t really need to since the course is designed for beginners and the first unit (Karel) teaches you all the basics. But if you have time now it couldn’t hurt to start getting comfortable with it.
This is an update to the ancient civ vs cs in freshman year. I plan to take summer chem, then ap bio and ap chem, so I won't have space to take apcs in sophmore. If I take ancient civilizations now, can I take cs foundations later, then apcs, in junior/senior year?

Technically yes, but how do you know you won’t absolutely love CS? How do you know if you’ll like bio and chem? Freshman bio might make you discover how much you hate bio, and it would suck to not learn how much you love CS until junior year. It’s strongly recommended to take CS freshman year because you might discover that you have a passion for it! Also, you don’t have to take ancient civ to fulfill the 4th history credit requirement. You can take much cooler electives, such as Law & Society, Inquiry into Ideas, Anthropology, etc.
I took foundations of comsci this year and what should my class average at least be to take AP CS and succeed? My class average is not as great as I would hope right now. What about bio? What should my class average at least be for me to succeed in AP Bio?

Well what do you mean by succeed? Do you mean getting an A or learning a lot? If you want to just learn a lot, then by all means, take whichever class you’re interested in. Your class average doesn’t matter in that case as long as you don’t have a C or below (and even then, you can work it out if you’re passionate). If you want to get an A, then you should probably have around an A in foundations/freshman bio.

The most important habit is to do every lab on time and to truly understand it as well. This will become significantly harder as the year goes by if you sucked at coding like I did. In any case, try to do the extensions, don’t ask for too much help from your friends/stack overflow because you should always, always try to figure out the lab yourself before you ask for help, and for every test, look at the questions you got wrong and make sure you really understand your mistakes and why the correct answer is correct. Why are Foundations CS tests so hard?

They’re supposed to be! They test your critical thinking skills and since you can’t really prepare for that, that’s why they’re difficult. Don’t worry, the tests (not just CS, but also math/science tests) are hard for everyone. You got this!
how should i study for the foundationals cs final? the programming one. i did sample and reviewed the concepts of programming but it just doesn't feel like enough.

Definitely do the sample final exam that your teacher should’ve passed out. Since you can use your code from previous labs and your packets, they’ll be very helpful for you to use. Familiarize yourself with how to use to compareTo() method for sorting and make a functional sort for alphabetizing, as well as the toString() method, since your teacher will probably ask to see those because they’re 3 points each on the rubric. Other than that, if you’re able to complete the sample final, you’ll do great!! Good luck!!

Study your code and syntax from the past labs. I would also try and redo some labs without any notes like one of the graphics one or just google online some practice APCS A questions because TJ Foundations covers most of the AP curriculum. Good luck!
