okay, so my name (Jessica) was the #1 name for girls the year I was born and fluctuated between #1 and #2 until 1997. Then it stayed in the low end of the top 10 through 2000.
I can count on ONE HAND the amount of other Jessicas I've met, and I'm really just counting people I've met in person or knew well online, like foundingfathersfbconvos - I have met a couple other Jessicas very, very briefly over email and phone for my work. Those other Jessicas take me to a second hand, but THAT'S IT. I have ZERO other name twins in my life. NONE! I was also the only Jessica in my class all throughout middle school and high school (there was only one other Jessica in my elementary school grade).
But I have known more Lauras, Laurens, Kates, Katies, Kathleens, Katherines, Catherines, Kathryns, Caitlins, Kaitlins, Jacquelines, Jaclyns, Jacquelyns, and Jackies than I can count. And so many people tell me that they know like ten Jessicas. WHAT IS THIS WEIRD VORTEX DEVOID OF JESSICAS THAT I INHABIT?
