So..... A slight announcement. I've had a "guest" staying with me for a while. And I may or may not be fishing for some internet advice here. So this guy... We have a lot of stray and feral cats hanging around our apt complex. Most run away at humans. He's been for the most part just strolling up to humans all casual like, totally conditioned to humans. I've seen him around weeks prior. No tags or anything but SUPER friendly and affectionate. So.. I let him in to my apt to feed him and make sure he doesn't get hurt. Turns out he's housebroken and incredibly well-behaved (if somewhat rambunctious). He seems healthy, nothing obvious. Probably needs to get neutered. I put a notice on Next Door about a found kitty and no replies. So I figure I ask the internet at large if anyone is missing a young male orange tabby with a clipped right ear. If so PLEASE let me know. I feel rather conflicted holding on to a cat that might belong to someone else. Because, he's a really sweet boy. The hidden one I referenced yesterday. Gwen escaped shortly after the move from my Aunt’s house where we had hoped she would have a new home. Following a lead from someone who saw a flier, we tracked her down and trapped her Sunday morning. Now after seeing the vet yesterday, she is in isolation in the bathroom here for a few days. I am sad her new home didn’t work out, but really happy she is safe and sound with me now. It’s really a joyous miracle we have her back.
