SYDNEY SWEENEY, CISFEM, SHE/HER, MUSE 59 ╾ don’t look now but adeline beaumont is heading this way. last i heard, the twenty-two year old declared their allegiance to factionless during the last town meeting. it definitely makes sense, considering the fact that they’re known for being ambitious. that being said, they can also be quite mendacious. something tells me it won’t be long before their true colors start to show.
meet my lil crybaby , way too naive and ambitious and it tends to get her in a lot of trouble . tends to fall in love with everyone , and i mean everyone . if you give her the slightest bit of attention / affection she’ll gain feelings for you so what . tends to put her all into people who could give a damn less about her , doesn’t really understand why not everyone feels the same , but takes the pain and falls for the next one . grew up in a very unstable family , has a lotttta daddy issues . her dad left her mom when she was born , her mom did fine until she was seven . that’s when the constant drinking started , and never seemed to stop . whether it was 8 am , or 2 pm her mom was slurring her words and rummaging through the house . learned from a young age how to take care of her , how to cook , clean , how to get her mom out of the house semi sober to go grocery shopping . you named it . despite the daddy issues , and the semi mommy issues . she was pretty sane , had a pretty okay school life . had plenty of friends but always wanted more . almost desperate for validation , always wanted to be liked by everyone . did the most out of the box things you could think of to get attention . all she wanted was to live , and to be loved . but didn’t want to not be remembered ( like her father ) . seemed pretty normal for a young kid , simply just a little more on the wild side . after all , the only discipline she ever got was from at school . addy was crazy smart , straight a+’s throughout every grade . never got an assignment in late , but was somehow always out there doing something crazy and off the walls . flash forward to highschool she was pretty popular , second hand on the cheersquad . but if you asked around , all you’d hear about addy was how she was easy , now maybe from an outsiders perspective she was . probably couldn’t count the amount of people she had been with if she had 5 hands . however it wasn’t her intention , just had a bad habit of getting a small amount of attention and thinking it was destiny and true love . could smile at her in the hallway and she’d think about you all day , addy just didn’t have any sort of control of her heart . not to mention , apparently her brains didn’t apply to feelings either . maybe it was just a way to ease her mind of her home life , or maybe it was her not wanting to end up like her mother . always wondering why her father left , what made her so intolerable that he couldn’t stand to be apart of her life . got crowned prom queen , graduated with an amazing gpa , had colleges begging for her . could’ve gone , anywhere . her family had money , and that’s the only reason addy turned down scholarships , she could’ve been out of here , long gone and never have to deal with the reputation she created for herself ever again . but instead chose to stay back , chose to stick with the party scene , didn’t really wanna create something for herself . relied on all the money , until everything basically disappeared . before addy had realized that everyone had disappeared , all she could think of was why would her mother leave her . all she’d done was take care of her , love her , she’d do anything for her . it broke her , shut herself out for a bit . lingered in the shadows for a bit before finally branching out . she remained faction-less , part of the commitment issues she has . weird considering how hard she looks for love , but it explains how she moves on from one to the next so quickly . she stays mainly out of peoples way , does her own thing kinda off in her own world . manages to sneak her way into places out of her territory to get what she needs , manages to somehow get herself out of trouble whenever she finds herself caught up . basically just living her own life , trying not to dwell on the fact everyone she loved was gone ; tried to ignore the fact everyone that she used to know was now so cruel , so dangerous almost .
