          you’d  think  that  someone  as  tall  as  bam  would  have  trouble  sneaking  around,  but  that’s  just  not  true.  he’s  still  got  connections  with  some  old  buddies  when  it  comes  to  fighting.  no,  there  wasn’t  as  much  of  an  audience  as  there  used  to  be  before  everyone  else  disappeared,  but  fighting  was  one  of  the  only  normal  things  he  had  left.  catching  up  with  amari  afterwards,  the  male  tosses  a  bag  over  his  shoulder  and  draws  in  a  deep  breath  to  prepare  himself  for  the  cold  that’s  about  to  hit  them.    ❛    hey!    ❜    his  lip  is  bleeding.  there’s  no  doubt  in  his  mind  that  there’s  gonna  be  a  bruise  or  two  on  his  cheek  from  taking  a  punch  just  a  little  too  hard  that  night.    ❛    can  you  help  me  out  with  somethin’?    ❜

amari sticks out in the crowd , always has in this particular space . pretty girl with a lot of attitude , isn’t afraid to show off . basically begs everyone in the room for some sort of attention . she’d met bam a while back , always paid more attention to his fights than others . being the only ring girl there , she didn’t have much competition . matter of fact , most people thought she was absolutely out of her mind . but amari was pretty used to being damn near naked for a crowd . she’s got a larger sweater on now , and that’s it . other than her boots . has her bag on her hip and she’s just collecting the tips she made the for the night when she hears his voice coming from the back . tongue glides across her lips as he comes over , eyelashes batting as her head cocks to the side . eyes washing over his face , taking in his appearance . ❛ before i help you with anything , we need to take care of ... this . ❜ her finger lifts , pointing to him . ❛ your lip is gonna look like you had some bad fillers if we don’t get it fixed . ❜

          wind  howls,  just  barely  tousling  blonde  locks  across  her  shoulders  as  camilla  makes  her  way  back  to  her  front  porch.  it’s  when  she  reaches  the  stairs  that  she  hears  someone  behind  her,  someone  approaching  from  the  street.  curiosity  begs  her  to  turn,  ultimately  triumphing  the  desire  to  wander  inside  ––  to  wander  to  warmth.  so  she  turns,  eyes  narrowing  as  the  female  finally  recognizes  him.  the  two  had  managed  to  avoid  each  other  for  almost  a  month  now,  to  which  she  was  thankful.  however,  a  cold  november  night  was  not  the  time  for  a  reunion.  not  when  everything  between  the  factions  had  been  falling  apart.  exhaustion  riddles  her  features,  shoulders  falling  as  her  head  shakes  in  the  slightest.    ❛    go  home,  vince.    ❜    did  any  of  them  have  homes  anymore?  it  didn’t  matter.  the  male  haunts  her,  and  just  his  presence  covers  her  with  heartbreak  and  sorrow.

          new  ham  doesn’t  give  the  mind  much  to  think  about  other  than  the  past  and  worries  about  the  future.  it’s  about  three  in  the  morning  when  bam  decides  to  scroll  through  his  contacts.  there  were  a  couple  people  here  and  there  he’d  tried  calling,  but  nothing  went  through.  that  was  a  sure  sign  they  hadn’t  gone  on  the  trip  and  maybe  it  was  the  only  thing  that  gave  him  some  kind  of  closure.  when  he  gets  to  adeline’s  name,  his  thumb  hovers  over  the  name  before  he  gives  it  a  tap  and  calls  her.  before  he  knew  it,  he  was  inviting  her  over  ––  an  act  that  proves  he’s  longing  to  go  back  to  how  things  were  before  that  bus  ride.  he  needed  something  familiar,  and  addy  was  just  that.  it’s  selfish,  he  knows,  but  he  doesn’t  care.  that’s  why  he’s  answering  the  door  within  the  upcoming  half  hour,  sweatshirt  and  sweatpants  showcasing  his  lazy  ethos.    ❛    hey.  sorry  i  called  so  late.    ❜    about  a  month  too  late,  actually.  not  just  at  three  in  the  morning.  

this whole thing caused addy to almost shut down , whoever she was now was almost a worse version of who she was . she can’t even tell herself why her heart started racing when her phone lit up with his name ; gut telling her to ignore the call . but it doesn’t stop her fingers from brushing over the button . hearing his breathing on the other side . hearts pounding in her chest , arms wrapped tightly around herself as she makes her way towards his house . telling herself that it’s not like it was before , but deep in her heart she knew it was . knew if she could read his mind she’d know she wasn’t the first choice . but in her world she knew she never really was . she’s rounding the corner , breathing slowly as it creates a white fog in front of her . goosebumps covering her skin before she’s turning up the side walk ; knuckles gently tapping against the door before she’s seeing his face . expression is sad almost , but she’ll put on a small smile . how long had it been since she’d last seen him ? who cares , it’s honestly the last thing on her mind . she’ll shake her head , voice soft . ❛ it’s , fine . ❜ she’ll pause . ❛ don’t wanna seem pushy but ... it’s a little chilly out here . ❜

cracks knuckles. i know not everyone loves cindy cause of. how shes typically played. but im on my knees beggin for once chance FMSNFSDF amari is truly my baby.

her mom and dad split almost right after she was born , her dad was a very wealthy man and her mom wasn’t . her fathers family didn’t approve of the relationship , none the less that he now had a child with someone who wasn’t even close to being on the same playing field as him . so he packed up his bags , and left her mother there with little amari in her arms . amari was a quiet child , typically only spoke up to poke the feet of the bear . had a thing for watching things fall apart in the oddest sense . even as a kid if you looked into her eyes you could see the chaos beneath them .  she didn’t really see the problem in telling a couple white lies ( a day ) , had her teachers call her mom plenty of times . over and over , constantly being told she shouldn’t have lied , or even when they’d believe her and it’d turn into a whole other thing . she was a good kid , never did anything too bad other than the white lies . her mother loved her like no one ever would . but couldn’t help to think that her lying was her digging into her own life . comparing herself to the other kids who showed up to the class parties and talent shows with a mom and a dad , and her mom would run in the door thirty minutes late ; but it would only ever just be here mom . her mom never really told her what had happened to her dad , but it didn’t take long for amari to piece things together . her mom had no idea how to handle her eight year old daughter asking why she wasn’t good enough for her father .  you can say her daddy issues developed wildly , her mother and her struggled . for a majority of her life . amari did everything she could to help bring in money , as her mom already worked 3 jobs and did under the table things for others . they struggled to stay afloat , but it never made her love her mom any less . once highschool started amari had reached out . gotten a couple of close friends ; no one really messed with her . she wouldn’t go out of her way to be mean , but it was a defense mechanism . never wanted to let anyone get close enough to understand or even know a piece of what was going on at home . she was a pathological liar , had a craving to poke the beast every time a situation had an opening for it . she took it every time , would constantly watch everything crumble around her . made her heart pump , made her feel powerful . the queen of spreading rumors , she wasn’t the most popular by any means ; but she was certainly known .  once she turned eighteen she turned to the internet for the attention she craved , amari became a cam girl , never showed her face but her popularity grew almost instantly . she’d only ever really told a few handful of people , never her mother . but it brought in money to pay the bills , put food in their mouths , get actual nice clothes . it gave her a way to give her mom the life she thought she deserved . the life they deserved to get from her father ; but she knew he was too much of a coward to ever care .  amari is ... super attention needy . loves when eyes are on her , loves when shes the cause behind things falling apart ; has little to no emotional feelings . has been with handfuls of people , has had her heart broken once and that’s kinda what triggered it . never thought shed trust love after what her father did to her mother , gave it a chance and got her heart shattered ( hello plot connection ? FNMDSF ) so now its all about sex to her , she doesnt really even notice herself when shes flirting with someone , cant really control it . its just an impulse . the definition of the devil sitting on ur shoulder . literallly never go to amari when you have a good idea and a bad idea that you need help choosing on because shell tell you to go with the bad one but take it a million steps further . bottom line is , shed do anything for the few people she actually cares about . resents her father , and lowkey has a sex and attention problem .

alright listen , when i say vince is a major asshole . i mean a major asshole . had all the money in the world , had pretty decent parents ( just travelled a lot ) he’s reaaaaaaal narcissistic , entitled as fuckkk , and super pessimistic . tends to see the absolute worst in things before even looking into them ; is a reaaal debby downer . coulda lost ur dog and he’d be like oh well it’s not like ur gonna find them . ( hate this bitch but i lUV him ur honor .. ) anyway , a real toxic piece of work i tell ya that .  anyway , growin up he had it all . literally there was not a thing u could mention that vince didn’t have . been playing football and hockey since he was 6 , ( started early ) , he really wanted to pursue it as a career cause man hes athletic as all hell . really shined through it too , had a different practice every other day . his way of making his parents proud , however they never showed up to any of his practices , or any of his games for that matter . which for a while didn’t phase him , but later on took a toll on him . because as much as he enjoyed playing ; there was still a part of him that knew he was doing it for their approval , and they didn’t care .  middle school u could say he was a bully . would shove kids into lockers . put u in a trash can . had his lil bro squad and that was that . kinda ruled the school . all the way throughout highschool . he was the typical beefy mean jock but we luv that . he wasnt dumb but he definitely wasnt the smartest , only did well in school to be able to play sports . was a heartbreaker for sure . has really bad anger issues so small little things used to make him rage , and now that everythings kinda gone downhill hes reaaally gone . hasnt really changed at all . still a douche , still sees the absolute worst in things . not good at relationships at all but has somewhat of a heart when it comes to the right person .  for the ppl he cares abt he would go . the extra mile to make sure theyre safe / protected . probably not in the best way because he truly cant help himself . causes fights for the adrenaline rush it has , u can count on him to try and ruin ur day because its literally all hes good at .

meet my lil crybaby , way too naive and ambitious and it tends to get her in a lot of trouble . tends to fall in love with everyone , and i mean everyone . if you give her the slightest bit of attention / affection she’ll gain feelings for you so what . tends to put her all into people who could give a damn less about her , doesn’t really understand why not everyone feels the same , but takes the pain and falls for the next one . grew up in a very unstable family , has a lotttta daddy issues . her dad left her mom when she was born , her mom did fine until she was seven . that’s when the constant drinking started , and never seemed to stop . whether it was 8 am , or 2 pm her mom was slurring her words and rummaging through the house . learned from a young age how to take care of her , how to cook , clean , how to get her mom out of the house semi sober to go grocery shopping . you named it . despite the daddy issues , and the semi mommy issues . she was pretty sane , had a pretty okay school life . had plenty of friends but always wanted more . almost desperate for validation , always wanted to be liked by everyone . did the most out of the box things you could think of to get attention . all she wanted was to live , and to be loved . but didn’t want to not be remembered  ( like her father ) . seemed pretty normal for a young kid , simply just a little more on the wild side . after all , the only discipline she ever got was from at school . addy was crazy smart , straight a+’s throughout every grade . never got an assignment in late , but was somehow always out there doing something crazy and off the walls .  flash forward to highschool she was pretty popular , second hand on the cheersquad . but if you asked around , all you’d hear about addy was how she was easy , now maybe from an outsiders perspective she was . probably couldn’t count the amount of people she had been with if she had 5 hands . however it wasn’t her intention , just had a bad habit of getting a small amount of attention and thinking it was destiny and true love . could smile at her in the hallway and she’d think about you all day , addy just didn’t have any sort of control of her heart . not to mention , apparently her brains didn’t apply to feelings either . maybe it was just a way to ease her mind of her home life , or maybe it was her not wanting to end up like her mother . always wondering why her father left , what made her so intolerable that he couldn’t stand to be apart of her life . got crowned prom queen , graduated with an amazing gpa , had colleges begging for her . could’ve gone , anywhere .  her family had money , and that’s the only reason addy turned down scholarships , she could’ve been out of here , long gone and never have to deal with the reputation she created for herself ever again . but instead chose to stay back , chose to stick with the party scene , didn’t really wanna create something for herself . relied on all the money , until everything basically disappeared . before addy had realized that everyone had disappeared , all she could think of was why would her mother leave her . all she’d done was take care of her , love her , she’d do anything for her . it broke her , shut herself out for a bit . lingered in the shadows for a bit before finally branching out .  she remained faction-less , part of the commitment issues she has . weird considering how hard she looks for love , but it explains how she moves on from one to the next so quickly . she stays mainly out of peoples way , does her own thing kinda off in her own world . manages to sneak her way into places out of her territory to get what she needs , manages to somehow get herself out of trouble whenever she finds herself caught up . basically just living her own life , trying not to dwell on the fact everyone she loved was gone ; tried to ignore the fact everyone that she used to know was now so cruel , so dangerous almost .

I liked that about her. She was unpredictable. Sometimes the things she said and did were surprising. Sometimes they disturbed me. But she was exciting, and that’s what I liked most. She was so many, many things but she was never once boring.
