I just wanted to talk and reach a mutual understanding. I'm not sending these as asks because I want them to be secret or something, i just figured you'd appreciate the option of not having to clutter your blog with reblogs if you chose to reply! I'm not hiding anything, I'm not working at some sort of agenda here, I was just trying to reach out to you and talk??

Yes the tag belongs to EVERYONE, so YES you have every right to put it there. At the same time I have the RIGHT to get offended by your opinions because you put it in a place where I can SEE them. When you tag your hate you have to understand that you have to accept the consequences that come with posting a negative opinion in a public sphere okay? 

If you never tagged your hate, I never would have found your blog and this whole mess could have been avoided. But you put yourself out there and now this is what happens.

YES this fact never changes. But, intent DOES. You don’t have to AGREE with me, but if you’re going to call people trash and garbage and shame people for these opinion in a public space, you’re going to have a bad time

I haven't apologized because I didn't go to anybody's personal space and tell them they (or their ideas) were trash. I kept my vague frustration to myself, on my own blog. I've never backpedaled! I admitted that the initial post was nothing but inflammatory and I never meant for it to go around like it did, so I deleted it because it was upsetting people it was not directly aimed at. Yourself included. Clearly it made you feel attacked and for that I do apologize.

You tagged your hate, man. You PUT it in a public space. Everyone can see the Lautrec tag. Especially me. And now your blog is on display

I have just been trying to have a conversation but you are being really defensive and rude. Calm down, I never went to your blog and told you your ideas were bad or wrong or garbage! I told you i thought they were harmless fun, that I was glad you had them, and to enjoy them! You can go back and reread my initial reblog of your post! I think you misunderstand my points of contention entirely, I have no issue with us disagreeing on the ship and I'm not judging you (or anybody) for it!

You know what’s also defensive and rude? Calling people garbage for their choice of ships and headcanons and then back pedaling and refusing to own up to your actions. I’m pretty sure that falls under “judging” and not along the lines of “I encourage your harmless fun”

Now, see. Here’s the problem. I know listening isn’t exactly your strong suit, but try your best, okay? 

I’m not hearing an apology. What I AM seeing is a person making rude assumptions, getting called out on them, and then deleting ONE post because it just happened to be the most unpopular one. You don’t call a person trash because of their ship and get away with it okay? Deleting a post isn’t an apology. Trying to be nice and civil about it NOW once everyone saw what a condescending jerk you are isn’t an apology. 

Honestly, I just think you’re full of crap. But, good try, anyway.

Hey, for the record, I said in my first reply to you that there's nothing wrong with having your own extensive HCs and AUs and that I recognize it's harmless fun! In fact, I encouraged it! My primary concern was just using it as a means of excusing the actual violence perpetrated in-game. Didn't mean to put you on the defensive because we disagree about our HCs, I'm open to various ideas, I just think it's in poor taste to write off that Anastacia is ultimately a victim, in-game. Anyway, cheers!

YEAH that’s all well and good, but that still doesn’t excuse the fact that you essentially called people trash because of these headcanons. So, much for open minded huh?

Clearly, this is just going to be a case of “let’s agree to disagree” because this is just going to be a matter of perspective. I’m not going to change my mind. You’re DEFINITELY not going to even try to BOTHER listening to anything I have to say, so really you even coming to my inbox was SUPER pointless in the first place
