Four Minute Warning.....

.....until the playlist starts.....and you’ll be relieved that there’s no brass this time*. So what’s the theme this week.....well, remember the good old days when all we had to worry about was a nuclear war? A very costly arms race that was absolutely essential for.....well, you know.....

.....but mostly for prosperity and the economy because some people need to get their hands on as many tax dollars as possible.....for what ever reason......then all of a sudden there was no nuclear threat.....and as if by magic another threat came along.....and then another one.....but don’t worry, Globalcorp can supply all your requirements .....including masks that don’t work.....😬

.....btw, the masks in that gif👆🏻have asbestos in the filters, so if you survived WW2 there’s a chance you’ll develop an incurable lung condition instead.....personally I think that every situation is being manipulated by the few to suit their needs.....which is mostly power and money.....I think there’s only one solution.....

You know what’s next.....a bunch of atomic tunes.....including bombs, and radiation, and stuff.....

2003 we finally see Mark's sophomore album the amazing and underrated In Your Own Time. This should've put him at least into the UK top 10 but I don't know what happened. For me the album is brilliant piece of pop from start to end w/ the UK getting a 13 track deluxe edition while the rest of us had to settle for a 10 track album. I had to buy it on import.

A lead banger of a song, 4 Minute Warning and the beautiful follow up Alone Without You which struggled in the charts even with a CD2. Maybe if they'd officially released the remixes it would've seen more success. You can find the only remixes of the 2 official singles on youtube called - Shanghai Surprise Mix.

A promo video was made for How Do You Love? but I can't fine a HQ version of it anywhere & nothing about its release is on Discogs.com

As of today none of these singles are available to steam/DL. I hope one day we do get a deluxe reissue of this great album with the bsides/rare tracks and remixes.
