Hello Friends and Happy October!

With the arrival of a new month, I'm excited to share the first piecing instructions for the Midnight Circus quilt along!

We're starting off simple with a very easy traditional quilting unit; the Four Patch! These will be made using fabrics A and B, and can be assembled using one of two piecing methods!

The Four-Patch Block is next and probably one of the easiest blocks there is.

Here are the colors I chose.

I cut  1  4″ wide strip from each color, then made 4″ squares, two of each color.

Then I laid it out as follows..

I sew the rows horizontally, then pinned the 2′s together and sewed to make a four patch.  Press (I always use steam) and you’re finished.  I love making four patches because…
