All Of Them Are True
Chapter 1

Summary:
There are many stories about Steve and Bucky. All of them are true.
Notes:
Welcome to the 4 Minute Window Advent calendar for 2023! (Yes, I know, I know what I said--shh.) This isn't so much a continuation of the story as an explosion of it: various contradictory strands of ways the story could go from here. That said, the goal is still is to give you some story (of some kind!) every day between the Immaculate Conception and Christmas - I may end up falling behind, because I'm insane and overworked, but I'll get there in the end, I promise. This continues on from 12 Postcards and may have other multimedia elements; if you can't see them, you might want to change your browser. I also continue to invite participation both formally (if you want to write a story for advent, be in. touch!) and informally in the comments. Also: I'm always happy to hear about what you'd like to see happen: I encourage you to write it yourself, but I do take requests.
Snippet:
As he put up a pot of coffee for himself, Shop Cat appeared out of nowhere and leapt onto the counter, strutting past him and rubbing herself against his hands. Steve smiled–he and Shop Cat had a new and special relationship now, ever since he’d rescued the cat from the cold desolation of Coney Island Avenue and brought her back to Bucky, where she belonged. "I guess you’re ok," Shop Cat seemed to have decided, "for a lunkhead," and after all, Bucky'd come to more or less the same conclusion himself, hadn't he? Steve grinned and stroked the cat a couple of times from head to tail, then poured himself a mug of black coffee.
