Hey all! Happy Lunar New Year! I’m excited to premiere a few new wood cut out designs. 2022 is the year of the Tiger. I’m a Fire Tiger so I’m nerding out about the upcoming year and will endeavor to push my work to higher levels. That being said, a side project I’ve had in mind for a while is creating representations of the four dignities of Buddhism; The Confident Tiger, The Disciplined Lion, The Outrageous Garuda, and The Wise Dragon. I am happy to say I have 3/4 and am incredibly proud of them. Buddhism is a practice that has brought me a tremendous amount of peace and these 4 aspects are qualities I endeavor toward. Let’s kick this New Year off with kindness and patience toward ourselves and others while still honoring our boundaries. Listen to your heart, body and mind through out this year.
