I slowly walk up onto a stage in front of a crowd in a theatre with dimmed lights. I’m dressed formal, though the shine of sweat on my brow is apparent under the spotlight that illuminates my path. A single microphone sits alone in the centre of the stage, and I approach it.

The tension is palpable.

I reach the microphone, taking out a single note from my pocket. My hands shake as I unfold it, the crowd awaiting my words with bated breath. After but a moment, I speak two words.

“Roblox Grace.”

Blue is pAInter’s favourite colour. It’s because it’s the colour of the sky, of freedom. Of the one thing he yearns to one day see again, the one of many things he’s denied so deep underwater.

But his eyes are blue. Blue like the sky. Bright and true, and holding that same promise. The promise that one day, they’ll be free once again.

But for now, pAInter can look at the blue in his eyes. And he can feel safe. Because the sky isn’t the only thing that he yearns for. The sky isn’t the only thing that he needs. The sky isn’t the only thing that he loves.

“… Yes.”

“Sure buddy,” Sebby says, cuddling back anyway
