notebook: what is better, handwritten or typed notes?

For learning the material and taking notes in classes/lectures I definitely prefer handwritten notes. But when I’m writing things up to revise them I prefer typing them up so they look neat and tidy which makes it much easier to revise from them. Although if I had to pick one it would be handwritten notes 100%

ambition: what is your current study goal?

My current study goal is to revise for my exams which are next Friday and then another one on the Monday after that, on programming and computer architecture respectively. But beyond my exams I’m just trying to get to grips with some more of the theory based topics in computer science as that is definitely one of my weaker areas at the moment.

Time, the fourth dimension

First off, i love the show doctor who so this kind of inspired me to want to write about time. I'm not going to pretend to be a quantum physicist (although i find the topic extraordinarily interesting. I concluded that everything in the universe exists in 4 dimensions. Many people seem to think that objects exist in 3 dimensions (3D). Length, width and Height. The other one people forget is time, So coordinates of an object in space for example is abscissa, ordinate, applicate, and temporal (X,Y,Z,T) instead of abscissa, ordinate, and applicate (X,Y,Z).  It turns out there were people who agreed with me and explored the topic in far more detail and probably have IQ's beyond human. They actually came up with 11 dimensions but I just wanted to talk about one, Time. Think about our sun, now think about the earth in its orbit around our sun. Got this image in your mind? Now think about right now where the earth is relative to our sun. This can be drawn on a 3 dimensional graph, X = distance from the sun, Y = Height relative to the sun, Z = Completes its location by adding in its applicate position. When you chart its exact location you must know its exact moment in time (T), making time a very relevant dimension in all of this.

When you think of time as more than the time of day, and think about time as tangible thing the idea of being able to traverse in time just as one can travel in space, then time travel and time viewing becomes possible if only in theory.
