  Loz sneered after the men- the dogs- as they scampered away. One big guy and suddenly they don’t feel so unstoppable. Turning to Kal as she spoke, a look of confusion crossed his face. 

  What, she didn’t remember him...? He was speechless for a moment, a quiet, mindless “uhh” the only thing he uttered as he glanced down at the hand extended to him.

     “...Loz,” he finally said, giving a curt nod. “Nice to... meet you, too.”

Kal didn’t know much about the people or the area in general. She was merely passing through at the time. However, the people must had thought she was some kind of warrior, for several of them asked if she would check out some manor that was nearby. At first, she had no interest, until she was given further details. Perhaps someone was hurt? Or someone was in there hurting others? Finally, the young remnant decided to go have a look.

She knocked at first, but no one answered. Upon trying a second time, the door actually opened, having not been fully latched. Strange. “Hello?” She walked in carefully, taking in her surroundings and staying on high alert. Kal drew her Quicksilver and entered further. “Is anyone here? Some people in town are worried something is wrong.”

Leaning in he began to return the gesture, pressing small, soft lips all over his sister’s face, rapidly kissing her in return. It didn’t help that he was a tad hyper, and overly excited at that very  moment.

“That’s a bit of a mouthful, but I think I get it. I need to stop moping and actually get on with things, right?”

She didn’t understand what she had done. Kal had simply been walking around the city of Edge when she started getting hateful looks from complete strangers. Growing uncomfortable, she started walking a bit faster. That was when she started getting threats. The remnant was completely shocked. “I...don’t understand.” Jaded eyes scanned the angry group. “I...I haven’t done anything wrong.” Had she?
