yes exactly!! why wouldn't his force ghost just appear and say that to her y'know? it would be a cool reveal. i saw it a second time and those lines (the rey and the first steps ones) gave me shivers ahhh i cant wait for ep viii

i totally agree. i feel like they easily could have had luke saying that line if she were a skywalker, but they chose to use obi wan - and that being the only occurrence of obi wan throughout the whole movie feels important and worth noting. i reckon it would make for a splendid big reveal should they be following the classic star wars movie pattern of some big shocker (and rey as a skywalker doesn’t feel shocking)

even if she’s not some reincarnation of obi wan as you suggested, my immediate thought after my second TFA viewing was what if she is obi wan’s granddaughter or something similar? but who knows! i am so eXCITED I HAVEN’T SLEPT IN DAY TOO BUSY THEORISING

is Cyndaquil good statwise? I always thought it had a boring evolution chain but if it's got great stats I'll consider picking it
