                "EXAMINING THE BODY MIIIIGHT not be as easy as you think." part of it was gone... devoured. and not by her for once. something ELSE had gotten to the poor soul before her. however, she wasn't going to let what was left go to waste, and so her lingering could be explained by the mere hope the strzyga could gather the scraps.

         head was tilted, but attention soon flickered to the scene where only the lower half of a torso and a single leg remained. blood pooled and splattered like an unusual art scene… or perhaps a child’s fingerpainting endeavor. "and i thought i was a m e s s y eater," joking tone was rimmed by a toothy grin.

          "HOW ARE Y'GOING TO DO ANYTHING, the body is burnt to a crisp?" it was a mixture of apathy and genuine curiosity. perhaps because she didn't want the other to be able to solve what had happened... seeing as cat HAD played a role. bodies didn't just spontaneously combust, after all; perhaps a bit of phoenix magic had introduced itself into the equation. "don't y'need, like... fingerprints and shit to do anything?"

Although Zora was more.. about the general winter themed cookies these days in terms of holidays, they would make due with the kind of options that they had available to them.

"Yeah, so these are sugar cookies - so we would make the dough out of the supplies and then.. make them into shapes. And once they are baked, we can put all kinds of neat icing and toppings on them. It can be a pretty decent time."

[I like the way that toshiko's voice comes out in the way that you write. it's clear that you have a sense of how she would move and behave.. and the way that you have woven her background into interactions.. is always really interesting to see.]

general notes for this meme for everyone: my suggestions are merely that! suggestions! and if i do not list someone you are interested in, it does not mean i wouldn't be down, i'm just trying to throw out ideas i've had. always open to further discussions and ideas <3

piper! maybe somehow clues to michael's disappearance were found and so toshiko is on the case and ends up working with piper to learn about his job/life. and maybe she ends up kind of getting put in the middle of realizing piper's parents are trash, or maybe something terrible happens that her parents caused ( piper nearly killed/dies, one of the staff is injured... ) and so toshiko is working to solve another case and protect piper or something.

assassin plus unicorn lays. just some badass "mythological" ladies doing some good. maybe toshiko is even recruited by laila's group to come and help them handle some missions and so the two need to work together to handle disposing of some not-so-good people.

fei fei. maybe fei fei gets to visit japan and she actually goes to where toshiko works to learn about the job and the sorts of education needed ( not that we have to talk about those specifically ) but fei fei just finding it pretty cool and wanting to get some mentorship and even telling toshiko about the moon and everything. but she's so smart and just interested in learning lots of sciency things so she would just be really intrigued.

toralei... i feel like they would just be a bit catty with each other in a way, but that they become pretty good friends over time and while they're still sassy with each other, it's in that mutual way of agreement.

and those are just the initial ideas to come!

"don't worry, I'm not here to rush you." young woman indicates to mug all the same - the same drink she'd noticed other drinking when last dropping in. "I heard you had some interesting plant findings mixed in with the hair samples, I'm here to have a look. I'm quicker than finding an expert to send them to." little smile comes with self deprecating joke, as if she's not an expert in her own fields. "if you don't mind my presence for a little bit."
