I got the keys to my house today ( I’m renting, I did not buy a house lol ) and I walked through it and eeeeee !!! I’m so excited, this is my last weekend in the apartment! The move will be hell I’m sure but also ahhhhhh!!

as much as it pains me to do, i am moving alina to a hiatus status and dropping all her threads. i really do hope and plan for this blog to come back, but right now life just isn't allowing me to give her time. i will be lurking here on occasion, but 90% of my focus will be on hope for now since her blog is where i've actually been able to write.

i might. nuke all my drafts on cat, the multi, and alina. and just. keep these three blogs all on a "hiatus" for a smidge. i can't even keep up with things on hope/daigo and those are the blogs i've actually had energy for... barely. i haven't written in like over a week even there.

i really don't want to. i have threads on these three blogs i adore but. i haven't been able to do anything on them in like two months, my writing muse is barely scraping by these days, and my time is just. going to get less and less soon for the soccer season coming up.

i don't know. i'm torn. i want to keep things, but i don't have the energy. and when i do get on here, the number of things i owe makes it hard to get going.

i've been so inactive that it probably would be better for not only me but for my partners if i just cleaned out things, gave myself time, and then restarted slowly whenever i can get the willpower.

not making this decision final yet but for those i have drafts with, know that this is weighing heavy on my mind. if you have something you're loving, i wouldn't mind doing a bit of a "restart" in the future when i get muse again, but right now my struggles to write aren't fair to you.

thank you to everyone still sticking with me despite all this, whether you follow hope or not. i miss all my muses, i'm just. tired.

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!

okay... at the time of posting this, it's not the new year yet but shush. gunna keep this short and simple because like. tbh i just don't have a lot to say i don't think.

obviously at some point this year my muse focus and heart got taken by @namedhope so that is the blog you've been able to find me on most of the time as of late. my other blogs are, of course, still beloved and all my muses adored, but the brain just fixated and had been extremely happy on that blog for the majority of this year.

@streetslost ( the blog i'm going to initiate posting this on ) and @starsweepers have still been getting some attention ( the multi more so just because of haylee ) and then poor @bloodcrave has had the least attention, but all of these blogs and muses still mean so much to me ( esp cat for obvious reason <333 ). everyone following these blogs and sticking with me through the inactivity... through having such immense patience and understanding... y'all are such massive mvps for me! thank you so much.

and for everyone giving hope a chance? massive kisses and hearts and hugs for you all because i know she's like niche despite not being from a niche franchise really lol. it's been so fun to explore her and engage with old and new friends there!

overall my activity levels have plummeted heavily. real life work has been one thing after another, i've been involved in a ton of sports, i'm a gym bug, trying to have a social life... and then gaming pretty much every weekend with the besties ( shoutout twinnie, mizzy, and dallas! but also smooches to the others i've gotten to pop in with on the rare occasion! ). so, yeah. i'm just not as active, not as engaging... and slower than molasses but. i'm still always having fun with all you lovely beans! muwah muwah!

some big changes in life. some good, some bad, but ultimately this year was... chill tbh lol. i can't complain!

so just shout out to everyone again being patient and understanding i'm just. not the most active of rp partners hehe.

i hope you all have a wonderful 2026 coming up! each and every one of you are incredible people and writers. your creativity and enthusiasm continue to bring me a smile every day whether i'm posting much or not! may you all indulge this evening however you most love, whether with others or alone! and looking forward to more fun with our blorbos in the new year!

Kage studies her in silence for a long beat, the faint flicker of gold in her eyes catching the dim light like a reflection off molten metal. Hunger, she’d said. Pureborn. The words carry their own weight, pride and resignation tangled together, and he finds himself wondering which of the two truly roots her in place.

"You talk about it like it’s all you’ve ever known."

To be fair, he wouldn't be surprised to learn that it is. He continues, voice low, deliberate.

".....But even hunger shifts. It learns its shape depending on what feeds it."

He doesn’t sound like he’s mocking her, more like he’s tracing the edge of her statement, testing how sharp it really is. There’s curiosity there, maybe even admiration, though buried under the gravel of his tone.

"I’ve met plenty who claim to live without emotion. Most of them still bleed when cut. The difference with you is that you don’t seem afraid to look at the wound."

Kage leans forward then, elbows on his knees, the faintest glint of a smirk breaking through.

"Feral isn’t without class. It’s just…...honest. And that’s rarer than any crown or title I’ve seen down there."

A pause, softer now, not mockery, not pity.

"So tell me, Kasmira, when you do find something that ah....fills the hunger for longer than a moment… what happens then? Do you devour it anyway, or let it stick around?"

       ALL SHE'S EVER KNOWN... well. after a couple centuries, it's really all she can remember. though her mind holds up well, and she can bring forth things from ages ago in conversation; what she's able to recount isn't PERFECT. and, like most beings, she tends to let the things she'd rather forget slip from her. though there's also the simple fact - when she was human, she was too young for the memories to truly implant themselves.

                 no one remembers much from the days of toddlerdom. considering her early death in original life, next to nothing now existed for her when it came to what had happened. she k n e w the details, and there were moments when she felt the fleeting passings of an emotion like a recollection... never enough to really ingrain into her core. only the anger, the fury, the need for revenge.

       not the sorts of things that can ever truly find relief.

                       "i was human. ish. i suppose i was already a strzyga even by that point, but i had a human soul. i had... normalcy by the standards of the typical earth being. but i also had my quirks, and those quirks got me noticed and then killed for merely existing. no one thought to give me a chance to grow up and attempt to be k i n d and decent and all that. instead, they thought they could stop the monster early. they created her, actually."

        would she have been a good person? the blonde genuinely wasn't sure.

                      she finished up her slice while he went on, wiping her features off after and attempting not to ruin the ruby lipstick that painted her subtle smirk. kasmira wasn't sure his game; what he was getting at... but it was FUN to chat regardless. conversations weren't her strong suit, but ones that got her brain going did give her a sense of delight. though most didn't believe such of her - she queen loved to learn.

        "i feel like we're getting into symbolism more so than my appetite now, hm?" amused chuckle, head canting as she leaned back, nails tracing the soft curvatures of her face. "i'm not sure, honestly. though i didn't eat alina, if that suffices to answer anything. though i'm not sure she would have been filling. nothing else has lasted, and maybe the truth i don't admit is i don't want anything to do so. what do i do if i actually become full?"
