✨ COMMISSION: Meet Valerie! ✨

I had the absolute best time working on this piece for @toxicyearning!

Getting to bring their punkrock Streetkid Netrunner to life was so exciting. I always love reading the lore you guys come up with for your Vs, and her backstory is just too good not to share:

She's a Heywood local who actually found her true sense of belonging in the Night City underground music scene. But instead of wanting to be on stage, she loved being backstage! She worked as a roadie, and messing around with the sound and lighting tech is actually what kickstarted her passion for technology and netrunning and influenced her appearance.

She had a really nasty falling out with a local band (where there may or may not have been some romantic drama) that completely ruined her reputation in the scene. Exiled from the backstage life, she had to pivot to merc work to make ends meet.

Thank you so much again to @toxicyearning for trusting me with her! I loved every second of drawing her. 💕

✨ COMMISSION: Meet Fishbone! ✨

I recently finished up this commission for @beefmasterstupid, and I am so keen to finally share it!

Fishbone grew up constantly on the move as the son of a Nomad clan leader whose family specialises in metal scrapping. He was being primed to eventually take over the clan, but the responsibility was a heavy burden, and his childish streak meant his efforts usually ended in trouble. While he was struggling with the pressure, his friend was secretly being trained by their own parents to usurp the leadership. When Fishbone's parents passed away, the camp erupted into a massive succession dispute that nearly tore the clan apart, ultimately ending with his former friend taking control.

Feeling completely betrayed, Fishbone exiled himself to become an outrider. He rarely goes back to the camp now, choosing isolation and communicating strictly by radio. It is just him, his beloved car, and his gun out in the Badlands, slowly coming to terms with the reality that there might be nothing left for him in his clan anymore.
