Walked by the river, sat on the cliff and made a flower crown while countless swallows kept the bugs off of me, walked back home 💚
Midsummer night was so very sweet and cool and wild to contrast the hot hot sun of our longest day. I gorged myself on sweet cider punch and fruit for the entire day, much like a wasp. At night I went for a fire with my partner and my closest friend were we sang, and danced, and chased one another about. (Or more accurately they chased me about.) I didn't realize until yesterday that I rather hurt my feet wading on sharp river rocks, but it was more than worth it. Here in the Yukon our midsummer really doesn't get dark, there's just a strange liminal dusk for a few hours and then the sun comes up.
I'll be the first to admit it doesn't sound fantastic but I'm learning the tin whistle

A very high bar has been set for the 2014 New York street art scene with "Surplus Candy" - a secret one night only art show within an abandon building in Alphabet City. Organized by Hanksy, over 40 street artist participated in this incredible event, which transformed every participant —even those who came to view that art— into a lawbreaker.
