If the expectation of scientific studies that are applied to endogenic systems today by sysmeds were applied to traumagenic systems in the 80s or earlier, all plurals would be considered a bunch of fakers (which it was).

So just remember that if you withhold your acceptance of endogenic systems until "adequate" scientific evidence or "proof" is brought forward, you would have likely sided with the psychs that labeled all of us as fantasy prone attention seekers.

The only proof that can and ever will exist for plurality of any sort is, always has been, and always will be, systems themselves relating their internal experience.

God I want a story where theres some villain invading people's minds but then they come across the not-explicitly-plural character and get int their head. The villain is all mwahaha about shit then get clocked outta nowhere. They're like "what? Who are you? How did you get here?" And the host is like "ah yeah, they just be like that sometimes." Then a whole gang of headmates beats the shit out of the villain forcing them to flee.

Then the other characters are like "oh shit how did you survive??"

And our plural character is just like "yeah we just ganged up on them."

"We??"

"Yeah all the people in my head just beat the shit out of them. Wait, don't you guys have other people in your head?"

Then the story goes on with the plural characters being immune to the villain.

Alternatively I will settle for a demonic possession story where a plural character gets possessed and thinks it's a new fictive or something.

Ugh, hate the fucking take "endogenic systems might be experiencing something, but is completely different from DID/OSDD systems"

A) they aren't mutually exclusive

B) we're a diagnosed OSDD system that's found more similarity with some endogenic systems than with other DID/OSDD ones

C) we're not the only dx'd systems who've said this

The "queer is a slur", "only [X] can call themselves [Y]", and "you can't be [Identity A] while also being [Identity B]" nonsense always feels just so pathetic to us.

Like, how do you look outside, see the absolute fucking danger that queer folk are in and think it's important to gatekeep or police terms and identities? If someone wants to throw their lot in with us, I'm fucking for it.

"But what if the amatanormative patriarchy doesn't take us seriously??" They literally do fucking not already. And when they do, it's because they take us as a threat and are working towards our extermination. Maybe don't help them with that?

"What if a cis perisex man starts calling himself a lesbian?" Yeah that's what terfs think all of us tranny lesbos are anyway. Maybe we meet this guy with curiosity and acceptance? Either we get another taste of the wide wondrous diversity of the queer experience, or he does. If he's trolling, he'll get bored way faster than we will.

"But what if they aren't really queer and are just jumping on a band wagon because it's trendy?" If you're new to this, look up the whole "transtrender" thing. If you're already using it, fuck off. Again, if someone throws their lot in with us I welcome them wholeheartedly. There is nothing to be gained by being queer except for the love and acceptance of the queer community, and the hatred and vitriol of the state and its loyal enforcers.

"But queer is a slur!" And so the fuck is every single word under the rainbow. If it upsets you so much, mute the fucking word and move on.

I'm so fucking sick of sysmeds fucking ignoring OSDD-1. Sure they'll include us in their bullshit premise that DID/OSDD is only caused by trauma, and is the only way to be a system. But the second they start talking in anything but simple sound bites we don't fucking exist. Every fucking misguided argument and scrap of evidence they cite is about DID and only DID.

And like, there's so many mistakes they make. They act like the DSM isn't the most funded and peer reviewed document in psychology (and act like* it needs to be read between the lines). They ignore that there are systems out there that don't have DID/OSDD. They ignore that cause of a system and cause of a disorder aren't necessarily the same.

So it's no surprise that they also ignore the fact that none of what they ever say is about OSDD systems. We're always an afterthought or part of some asinine abbreviation that's probably only mentioned because of autocorrect/ autocomplete.

Mentalese

Holy crap it's actually a word! (Ve thought that it was a term made up by the plural community, but evidentally it exists outside of it. Neet!)

So ve've noticed this concept pop up many times before, but rarely do ve hear it ever called mentalese. Hell, the place ve learned about it (r/plural's glossary) would frequently not know this term existed.

In the tulpa community, the term tulpish is used to convey the same idea. But ve haven't seen this used much at all either.

Ve just wanted to share this here cause terms are rad as hell. Its helpful to have a word to describe a thing that frequently takes half of a paragraph to try and convey.

It's down right mind boggling how little reflection sysmeds have when they say "its transphobic to call us sysmeds, cause being trans is an identity and the other is a disorder."

Like, take a second. Ask yourself, what would a transmed say in response to that? What does a transmed think about being trans? Have fucking young or sheltered are you to not know about the amount of fucking hate and vitriol that was/is thrown around about needing dysphoria, a diagnosis, or to transition?
