“It has come to my attention that there is a secret romance that i haven’t been made aware of.” your father announced at dinner. Your hands immediately became clammy and Veronica gave you wide eyes from across the table. “Care to explain, mija?” he asked looking at you with a cocked eyebrow.

“I’m an adult who doesn’t have to answer to you, so i didn’t see a need to tell you until i was sure it was serious.” you took a deep breath to keep your voice strong even though your father and what he’s capable of scares you, “FP and i have been seeing each other for almost a year and i’m tremendously happy.” 

Your mother took a long swig of her wine as you girls waited for you father’s response.

“uh huh, is that so?” he tried to intimidate you by broadening his shoulders a little and puffing out his chest.

“Yes, it is.” you gave him a curt nod.

“You do realize how this could possibly ruin my business, right? My oldest daughter dating the Sherrif of Riverdale. That’ll scare of some potential clients.” 

“I don’t see how considering i’m not involved in any of your business’ and i intend to keep it that way.” you sassed.

“Your mouth has always gotten you into trouble.” he shook his head, “this is how this situation is going to go, mija. Having the law in my back pocket is going to work in my favor now that i think about it. If he wants to keep his job and make sure nothing happens to you, he’ll do as i say. Is he working tonight? i’d love to have a chat.” your father smirked.

“you always see to make everything about you, huh daddy. Neither I nor Veronica can be genuinely happy without you meddling and ruining everything.” you threw your napkin down on the table and stormed out of the Penbrook. You weren’t going to let your father ruin the one good thing that’s happened to you. 

You went straight to FP who was at Tent City currently in a meeting with the Serpents. When you arrives, the tears started to fall and you ran straight to him.

“What’s wrong?” FP asked quickly pausing the meeting and rushing towards you.

“My dad found out about us and he wants to have the law in his back pocket. I don’t want him to ruin this and i wanted to tell you before you got a surprise visit from him at work. I don’t know what to do to stop him from using me or you for his own twisted benefit.” you explained. FP wiped a stray tear from your cheek. 

“We’ll figure this out together. Alright.” He reassured you. It’s safe to say the Serpent meeting went in a completely different direction than they intended but they all hated Hiram as much as you did and considering you were apart of that family now, they were going to do everything they could to help.

Ive been craving something about Fp in the army if that helps at all.

but after graduating, that’s when your relationship went down the drain. fp had joined the serpents, and then later joined the army. you heart shattered, not wanting to end the relationship. you firmly believed you were going to marry him.

“but we can still be together, honey. we can write each other, we won’t end. this won’t end” he held your cheek, rubbing his thumb over your cheek, wiping your tears. you wrap your fingers around his wrist, turning your head and kissing his palm. “you’re my person”

he leaned down and kissed you, and you tightly wrapped your arms around his neck. he disconnected your lips and hugged you, inhaling your scent. “jones, we gotta go!”

you sobbed harder. “i have to go, baby” he pulled away from you, and you shook your head.

“no.. no, fp, please” your fingertips slipped from his and he turned away, and fred held you in his arms. “fp, please don’t go!” he didn’t turn back, he couldn’t. he didn’t want to see the sight of you as you broke down. fred buried your face in his neck, and you wrapped your arms around him tightly as you broke down. “i don’t want him to go, fred”

“he has to, sweets, he’s fighting for us” he held your face “for you” fred distracted you as the bus drove away, and you two headed away from the bus stop once it left. “want to go to pop’s?” you nod, buckling your seat belt and wiping your face. fred reaches over and rests his hand on your thigh, his thumb rubbing over your skin. “it’ll be alright, sweets”

“i hope so” you hiccup.

You had been seeing FP for some time now and you have never felt that someone is more right for you then you do about him. When you first got together, you were timid about telling him that you were a virgin and that you planned on saving it for that one person you knew you’d never regret giving yourself to.
