FP DELOS SANTOS' NEW SINGLE "POPULAR/I WISH" TO BE OUT AUGUST 24!
FP Delos Santos is scheduled to release his second single titled "POPULAR/I Wish" on August 24, 2024.
"POPULAR/I Wish" is Delos Santos' second maxi single and overall fourth single release, as well as his first-ever double A-side single. This is his first single release in eleven months since "NEW 20" in September 2023, as well as his first overall music release in eight months since his EP "MKT" in December of the same year. Originally slated for a July 1 release, it was delayed due to technical issues and schedule conflicts.
"POPULAR" is an electropop song with strong elements of dance-pop and electro, and it is about struggles in fame from the point of view of a commercially unsuccessful artist.
"I Wish" is an electropop and dance-pop song about a man and his wishes to be good-looking, famous, and fortunate in life.
"POPULAR/I Wish" will be released in three formats: CD maxi single, digital download, and streaming. The CD single will contain instrumentals of the two tracks as B-sides. For its digital release, it will be available for download and streaming on major music sites worldwide.
To promote the single, Delos Santos will be performing both songs on KAPS NIGHT 15, which will be held on August 31. He himself will also roam around Metro Manila to distribute promotional flyers for the single.
