Okay, so I'm messing around getting some dragon bios prepared for my Hatchery when I notice this...

There is a Firefly on this Imp's nose, and it really Friggin cute! I have always had a neutral reaction to Firefly, but this detail has definitely moved it up a few places in my Gene preference list...

A couple of new kids on the block! I picked up this pearl lady because I’m obsessed with hunter, but her tert turned out to be such a nice contrast. I tried to find a way to share these guys with their familiars and coloring showing, but alas the new bio layout makes that kinda messy lol.

I really don't need another gene project but I was messing around with firefly in the scrying workshop and got this lovely boy, although I might change his primary. Lately I've been thinking of adding some wcs to my lair, and I have the feeling he would be easy to write lore for... I'm not a hundred percent decided, but if anyone has any abyss/abyss/robin boys, preferably with lightning eyes, hit me up and I might consider it!

But how is Firefly a gene? It literally looks like bugs flying about.

Uhh I guess my own theory is the gene causes the dragon to release controlled bursts of magical energy that manifest as glowing insects? How about that.

Might be a good thing for dragon longevity given that old lore about dragons who have too much magic literally exploding
