Winter’s Teeth
The tutelary goddess of Broken Earth, Fracta.
She is the protective spirit of the empire, and there are little shrines dedicated to her throughout the capitol, and at significant places. (Battleground memorials are often accompanied by small shrines.)
It’s said that she pulled Aral from the pool of lava still enshrined in the palace’s depths today, and thus it’s believed that this is her ‘true’ house. She can, of course, appear anywhere across the empire, and reports are often made of her at border areas where the next major skirmish will erupt.
Most average citizens of the empire know of her, but their belief runs from ‘devotee and worshiper’ to ‘might not actually be real but who knows’. Rumors are that she only appears to natural-born fire dragons, however many of the Flow commanders have claimed to have witnessed her- regardless of their birth elements. Thus most high-ranking citizens have a shrine for her in their homes.
The most frequent gifts to be left at her shrines are pieces of raw ore, potash peaches, and flamerest embers.
