Will we ever hear the specifics on how Ingo's wing was damaged? I'm curious because I can't help but feel like Ingo and Emmet have slightly different experiences. The early description of Ingo's memory and his reluctance towards interacting with Galaxy team makes it pretty clear that he recalls people being the reason his wing is irreparable. Yet, Emmet experienced pain through their bond fairly soon after Ingo's disappearance and described it as "felt like claws raking down the sensitive bones, tearing with horrid intensity." It makes me wonder. Were the people who hurt Ingo just particularly savage, or did something much more sinister attack Ingo on his way to Hisui?

So, yes. We WILL be getting more details on exactly WHAT happened to damage Ingo's wings. I don't wish to share everything about that little bit of lore JUUUUST yet. There's more to it than just an injury after all. (Winks)

I can tell you this though, both accounts are accurate for different reasons, and the TRUTH is juuuuuust within your reach. You are VEEEEEEEERY close.

Thought I would drop these down here. 

Here are the designs for Ingo (Top) and Emmet’s (Bottom) wings from my Winged AU “Fractured Sky”. 

In this AU, people and pokemon can form a Pact, granting the human wings and a limited set of abilities, the ability to share emotions and feelings with their Pactmate, and understand the speech of their pokemon’s type (Someone who is Pacted to a Snorlax for instance, could understand Normal Types, Someone with a Grooky could understand Grass Types, you get it.) 

Now... the Sumas Twins. 

Ingo is Pacted to Zekrom, while Emmet is Pacted to Reshiram. (Having gainted this bond when they were five) I tried to reflect that in their wingform and design. (I gave Emmet more of a mock-avian style wing, so it stays in the ‘dragon’ category. You can see the ribs on the inside of his wings, but no the outside) 

Ingo’s wings are made of metal plates and membranes, with smaller black metal scales covering the bone of his wing. While in Hisui, he Pactbonds with Lady Sneasler as well when he becomes her warden, granting him the addition of Sneasler-like wingclaws.

Both twins have abilities reflective of their legendary Pactmate. 

I go into a TON more detail on what all this is in my actual fic, but I didn’t wanna bore with the details, or spoiler the fic that me and the gang have put together for ya. Hope this wasn’t to splurgy, but I’ve had this sitting in my folders for a while, so I wanted to get it out there.... for PROPAGANDA.

After my long break, I have decided. 

I’ve been struggling with some burnout, plus I had some other fandom and hyperfixations for a long while, making writing on Fractured Sky a bit hard. Plus... other things. BUT... I think it’s time I just came clean and admitted it....

CHAPTER SEVEN of “Fractured Sky” Is currently in the works!

I want to finish this story, and get on to even more projects, so stay tuned! It may be a while before it’s out, but HERE WE GO!

I think the second one is a bit better, just because in the first one, because it all has the same texture, it took me a second to realize what I was looking at. (Not long at all, really, but I feel like the effect is more immediate in the second.)

Yeah I definitely prefer the second but I was paranoid that the textures would be TOO much for the people on them so I'm glad people prefer it.
