“Caps told me all about you, well actually not really but I’ve read stuff.”
[ I couldn't resist. Now I have one more account. lol ] Adam looked towards the other, a dry laugh escaping his lips as green eyes turned pure black. "I heard you got Sam out". Yet not him. He had been locked in there with two arch-angels fighting and he had given in. Changed as his soul began to twist into something of anger and lost hope for the brothers that did not care about him.
Well, there was that.
”It was not a success.”
While he had retrieved Sam from the cage and bound him to an earthly form once more; the absence of Sam’s soul had caused far more harm than good.
He might well blame the speed of his extraction, or the looming threat that dwelt within, or that Sam’s soul had been between the jaws of the Morningstar himself - it changed nothing.
He had brought Sam back, stunted and twisted.
It was fortunate that Adam was spared such a fate; a soulless existence. Even if he did lament his inability to return for him.
"I am still trying to figure that out myself, I just woke up in some woods". Adam spoke as he looked to Dean, he had not been back long, a month at least and he had kept away from his half brothers until now. He was different. The pit had changed him. Seeing how Dean had gone in to his jacket, he knew what he was doing.
The Adam he knew was dead. Or locked in the pit as far as he was concerned. This was no ordinary situation and Dean knew that. If he had holy water, it would have been in use right now. Instead, all he had was the angel blade. The real question was could he really stab a member of his family? “People just don’t wake up in the woods.” He growled. This could be some shapeshifter. A demon. He wasn’t stupid. Looking around the room for a moment, Dean let his eyes focus on the silver blade sitting on the table. “Get it.” He demanded, the angel blade out now. “If you’re really my brother, you know the rules. Take the blade to your wrist and draw blood.” Shapeshifters hated silver and while Adam focused on that task, Dean could shift through the duffle bag sitting in the corner and look for the holy water.
- — six people hopped in shotgun
“ Please tell me you have locations of angels or demons – maybe even Abbadon. ”
"Dean". The tone was full of bitterness and anger.
He stopped dead in his tracks because as far as he knew, Adam was still in the pit. "... Adam." His words came out more of a whispered voice than anything. How the hell was this kid alive? More than anything, why hadn't Dean known about this before now? "How'd you escape the pit?" Now he was on edge, hand sliding into his jacket, fingers wrapping around the angel blade. He didn't trust people that just popped up out of the blue.
[ It's Metatron mun just so you know ] "Funny. Thought you all forgot about me". He said in a bitter tone.
"I did not forget." He murmured, careful to halter his wayward tongue at the conclusion of that particular sentence.
Angels could not forget.
"Castiel right?"
"…Adam?" Half a dozen questions settled upon his tongue while a dozen more sprang to mind. "Adam Milligan?
