“Never was any good at small talk, so the more relevant conversation topics would be appreciated... with minimal obvious lying.” He hadn’t looked “well” for as long as he could remember and was well-aware of this fact.

He could appreciate the explosives and junk food, that was a great way to waste time-- but this? Unironically? No way.

There wasn’t so much as an inkling of being close to home. The last thing he could remember was being smacked around by some big mutant that the Kraang had likely been responsible for creating. One second he was fighting along side his brothers, and then the next he was in a completely and entirely strange world from his own.

He wasn’t sure how much time had passed, but he was still feeling the force of the blow he’d taken, and now his muscles were sore and screaming at him to rest.  So he sat-- unsure of where, but the ground seemed like as good a place as any.

“I’m lost...” he mumbled to himself, “I screwed up. Again. And this time, I might never see my family.”

Eyes shifted from one empty space to the next, as if looking for any signs of life.  A figure? He thought he saw someone from the corner of his eye, and his instincts were telling him to stay on high alert in case it were an enemy. Maybe his eyes were just playing tricks on him though.... the shadows had a way of doing that.
