The level of "popular" analysis and interpretation of tonight's vote in parliament is the greatest evidence of how at the end of it all the basic building block of your average liberal democracy is the blooming idiot. The greatest wonder about liberal democracy is that it exists and works in spite of (and not thanks to) the free voting citizens it represents.
