ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL
by Brian Lynch and Franco Urro
Another work of art. The blue demonic entity used to be the mousey girl, and it's being reminded of that fact wi every step.
ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL
by Brian Lynch and Franco Urru
Most of my enjoyment of this comic came from the colorist, of which there are three: Jason Jensen, Art Lyon, and Ilaria Traversi.
But the action scene composition is all Urru, and the way the angled panel matches the angle of the upheld ax brings tears of happiness to my eyes.
Either Nicola Zanni or Franco Urru (both are listed in the credits) showing off my favorite panel composition in SPIKE: VOLUME 1.
SPIKE: SHADOW PUPPETS
by Brian Lynch, Franco Urru
Season five of Angel was just an absolute phenomenal outpouring of creativity. Probably because Joss Whedon was back to showrunning a single show. One of the many peaks of that season was the puppet episode. You know the one.
Welcome to the sequel. And is time, everybody gets to join in the fun. This is a Spike title, but it's the original gang (mostly). Lynch nails the voices, and Urru has a blast with the art.
