weird that in Spike: After the Fall, I find that the characters' voices aren't as show-accurate as Asylum or Shadow Puppets, even though the latter aren't (originally) canon and ATF is. I found Brian Lynch's work that I've read to be very show-accurate in character voices until it was canonized.Though, maybe the idea is that months in hell really dampened the voices. Going into Angel After the Fall next Opinions on Spike Asylum, Shadow Puppets, and ATF? I love Betta George, as does everyone I'm sure, Beck is a treat, and every female character acts exactly as you'd expect towards Spike. Dude's slingin mad dick Really like new Connor. We didn't get much of post memories Connor in the show and I liked him at the end of S5 too. Glad to see more of him. Illyria is, as always, a treat. A violent, hot, treat.

Don’t mind me, being emotional over Spike losing his soul in the Spike comics and just. Not turning into an uncaring killer because he’s been good even before he had his soul restored.

Wait... Drusilla temporarily gets her soul back in the comics? But this actually makes her sanity worse, because she can't deal with the guilt of the things she's done and Spike has to put her in a mental hospital? When does THAT happen? Some of the Spike side comics?

And this means all of the Fanged Four got their souls back at some point. Darla had hers, when she was brought back to life as a human.

Does anybody have any advice on where to start with Spike-centric comics? I’m not sure what the chronology is or which comics were meant to be read first
