I still can’t get over the change from seeing her years ago supporting Grizzly Bear (as a timid little mouse on stage) and now. It’s like a complete personality shift. Really didn’t enjoy last gig I went to so probably won’t see her again :(

What year was that? I still liked it and would see her again, but I would like it if she went more in the way of Krokodil and/or Teenage Talk rather than just making nice songs (now with horns) she can add crazy guitar parts to live. She also doesn’t do funny things with the lyrics anymore, like change them or try to deliver them in a new way (I remember everyone laughing when she sang “we'll do what Mary and Joseph did... without the kid”) it’s just like she wants to get the singing over to do more guitar stuff.
