as some people might know from my wild screeching impassioned lecturing, i’ve been doing a lot of research and writing on the both of them and based on a frankly overwhelming mountain of evidence, im pretty sure they were a couple and i have been blocking out a book about them IF anyone is interested in that. i think its important to know the both of them, and it kind of makes me sad to know that kyrle bellew was so damn famous and now he’s basically fallen out of knowledge completely.

I bought this for like $12 total. I LOVE it. There are old advertisements, it has handwriting in it, IT HAS THE ORIGINAL TICKET STUB IN IT (I found it between pages near the front of the playbill)—DOES THE TICKET STUB LOOK LIKE ITS 113 YEARS OLD?!

Two playbills I received today, in the mail, on my birthday!!

The first one I bid on (and beat another for!) from the week of 30 April 1923 (!) and it has Frank Connor in it. (Sally, Irene, and Mary).

The seller noticed my name on eBay is kyrlebellew (HAHA) and said he had Kyrle Bellew playbills if I was interested and would remember me for the future. I had one but not this one, so I got it too. It’s from the week of 16 May 1902! (Lady of Lyons).

I had a partial Lady of Lyons I won in an auction along with a cabinet card, so this is nice!
