Alice sat across Frank on their lunch break, eyes locked with his, holding his hand. He'd always had gorgeous eyes, it was the first thing she had noticed about him when they were sat together in the tiny boat crossing the great lake and she didn't think she would ever get tired of looking at them.

The planning for his birthday party was in full swing, but Alice kept it to herself, not letting him know that she was working on anything, working on it whenever he was at work. She'd asked Moody to schedule them on different shifts for the week, so she could get everything done. Alice knew that she couldn't pretend to forget his birthday, he knew she never would, but she would keep the fact that she was throwing him a party as a surprise. "Any special birthday wishes?"

She was fiiiiine, she was so fine. It was just a little cut, it wasn't the first nor the last, even if, okay, this time the bleeding was a bit out of control. Marley did wrap her hand with a towel, but the towel was less and less blue and more and more red. Maybe working with a holed glove wasn't the best idea, but hey, at least she was still wearing some. Her hand looking like a beautiful Christmas gift, Marley showed up at the clinic, keeping her fingers in the air. "Is there a doctor on board?" She shouted out after getting in, looking around for someone or a bell to use, uh, it could be a nice addition to this place.
