Straight from Pasadena, California, two classics from the Netherlands arrived at my mail box early in the morning: Wim Verstappen's Blue Movie and Pim de la Parra's Frank & Eva. Controversial and polemics, both 1970s' productions got a new treatment from Cult Epics and I can't wait to see them for the first time hence they were never (?) released in Brazil. According to Cult Epics' press release, Blue Movie was a breakthrough commercial hit for their company Scorpio Films – and was the start of the Golden Years of Dutch cinema. I'm very grateful to Nico B.'s hard work for making this release happen. Can't wait to see more of Scorpio Films under the care of Cult Epics' treatments.
