Matt Murdock is so damn shippable and somehow makes everyone around him so damn shippable because I could ship every character I ship with him with each other as well and then they could all just be one big complicated web of polyamory and I think that’s just amazing.

I never knew I shipped Frank/Elektra before reading your stories, they make so much sense!

Ty! ♥ I love them and I think they're GREAT together and should hook up more in canon. They were together in Thunderbolts 2013, but I really don't like that run or their characterization or relationship that much. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hate Elektra's classic outfit and this of course got retconned (given that these characters are not currently dead in 616 and that this came out 10 years ago, I don't think that's a spoiler), but it's a sweet moment

I also think they'd work really well together and just get each other in a way that most people (including Matt) wouldn't. They may not kill people in the exact same way for the exact same reasons, but they both understand that drive. And while they wouldn't have a relationship in the traditional sense, they'd both have a good give and take and wouldn't ask (or want to ask) something the other couldn't give. Like, they've both got their own shit and neither one of them will always be there, but if they're charging into almost certain death, they know who to call.

And I also enjoy writing them as bonding because they're both a little (or a lot) in love with Matt and decide to unionize rather than fighting about it lol. Matt is the kind of dude who would need two people to handle him, and he also deserves to get tag-teamed 😉
