Why do people hate him, though? All I’ve seen is “I hate John Green” not ” I hate John Green because..” I’m sure it’s completely justified, I just don’t understand.
i think people are mostly just annoyed by him bc they associate him with the whole "nerds>everyone else" attitude that some people have.
but he wrote about his characters kissing in the Anne Frank memorial house (admittedly that is kinda gross) and he has this super inflated ego bc of his movie.
plus, i'm pretty sure he supported someone using some slur... it was either the f-slur or the t-slur but i don't remember. so people think he's gross bc of that, and i get what they're saying.
