I watched Fixed, it was alright. The public freak-out was definitely not warranted.
Stuff I liked:
-The animation was great! I love seeing hand-drawn animation in 2025.
-The character designs were really nice. Domestic dogs are animals that vary in appearance so wildly that it always makes for fun character design in movies like this.
- I really liked Honey as a character. I feel like I haven’t really seen a Borzoi represented in an animated film before so that was cool to see.
- FRANKIE. Frankie stole the show for me. I really wasn’t expecting any intersex/nonbinary representation in this movie but it was really nice and heartfelt to me. I really liked their voice.
Things I didn’t like:
- The balls.
- The buttholes.
- I laughed like, twice maybe? Maybe the humor just wasn’t intended for me, because I didn’t find it very funny.
- It felt like an R-Rated The Secret Life of Pets.
Idk I’m not really a reviewer but I thought it’d be fun to write down my thoughts. ToT
10/10 for animation
4/10 for humor and story.
