Being an artist is a very solitary way of life. I spend most of my time alone in the studio. I am fine with it, in fact I probably love it. But I am very aware I need to be careful that I don’t get too use to it, it can lead to moments of social anxiety if I embrace it too long. The one little girl who is always beside me is Frankie, my adorable basket loving kitty. This basket sits on my drawing table - where Frankie is never further than 16 inches from me.
