Our good buddy Jason Tostevin reached out to give us exclusive trailer coverage for the new short from Hands Off Productions I Owe You. Jason produced the short but the camera duties this time go to director Mike McNeese. The short is an amazing portrayal of how a favor from a friend can come back to destroy you, especially when you took something from this friends past. I Owe You shows the range of Hands Off Productions who graced us early this year with the hilarious horror short Til Death. While I Owe You is another top notch production it has a more sinister story arch behind this morbid buddy tale.

  Father-to-be Cam owes his perfect life to his estranged friend Todd. But when Todd shows up one night with a body in his trunk and calls in the debt, Cam must choose between an awful trip into darkness and having his own terrible secret revealed.

I Owe You stars Brian Spangler as “Cam” with supporting actors Johnny DiLoretto as “Todd”, Trista Sudy as “Diane”, Tiffany Arnold as “Sarah”, Patrick Walters as “Ben”, Franklin Grace as “Reporter”, and Elizabeth McPherson as “Alyssa Bloom”.

  I Owe You has already received an Audience Choice Award at the Winter Film Festival in Cincinnati and has been chosen to open the Austin Indie Flix Showcase at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater September 25.  This is an amazing short that all walks of life can relate to and enjoy. I Owe You is a reminder that some good deeds go unnoticed but other come at a price! Be on the look out for this great short and enjoy the trailer and exclusive images!

Marriage is tough. Just being in a relationship is hard enough but the full commitment is a whole  separate story.  Luckily for us we can find reasons to laugh at our differences. But sometimes the only way to escape the hatred of a loved one is to put them out of their misery. In Jason Tostevin’s hilarious short ‘Til Death we see this play out to the ultimate extreme and find ourselves watching one of the funniest movies in early 2014.

Yes we stand behind that statement as this horror short provided laughs that the cast of Always Sunny in Philadelphia would be proud of. In ‘Til Death a group of guys all sneak to a bar to have an outing with each other. Due to the ferocity of their wives they each must find a way to lie to escape their current predicament. This leads them to the ultimate plan that they will kill each other wives in Horrible Bosses styled romp. When you see what develops between  the guys and girls you will beg to get an extended version of this hysterical horror short.

  Now don’t get us wrong the horror exists in ‘Til Death. There is even a scene or two that may cause you to jump. The beauty of the film is the morbid ways that each wife was killed and what develops after. Make no mistake that this film will have a little bit of something for everyone to enjoy and we can’t wait for you guys to see it. ‘Til Death is hysterically gruesome and a must see short of 2014.

The only gripe we have is the music during the bar scene felt a little empty. Eventually the soundtrack worked flawlessly with the rest of the film so it’s not too much of an announce. ‘Til Death is a nice treat for horror fans and hopefully you all will get a chance to see it soon. The cast and crew did a great job and the film was shot pretty well. It was really  a solid effort all around which allowed the funny parts to thrive. Make sure to keep an eye out for ‘Til Death on the festival circuit because the review does this no justice!
