It's interesting reading comments on religion written by a guy who is ethnically Jewish, used to consider himself an atheist but came around to beliving in the Tanakh — but only via a very unusual, pantheistic understanding of God — but doesn't consider himself a Karaite, despite similar beliefs — because they're too "racist" against gentiles — and absolutely despises the Talmud and Rabbinic Judaism — to the point of holding it 90% responsible for the death of many of his relatives — and who attends the local mosque regularly, but is considering moving to a Mennonite community because American Muslims aren't doing enough to resist modernity.

During childhood people develop a rudder which guides them for the rest of their life. The current generation of adults have a bad rudder and cannot be reformed, so they can only be improved through death. A childhood with religion, basic education, and playing outside in nature, and without electronic entertainment, will produce a tolerable adult. A childhood without religion, without playing outside, and with electronic entertainment and with a modern (politically correct) education will produce an intolerable adult deserving death.

Christianity appears to be a lost cause, but then so is Texas. I will look for a conservative mosque that is open anywhere in Idaho, and then look into moving there. Everything that is "outdated" is superior in a decaying culture.

Actually Judaism is the worst in this regard. Just because I was born racially jewish, Judaism won't let me leave, won't let me renounce my jewish citizenship. So Judaism is the worst cult.

In response to the rabbi: His claim that "adam" doesn't mean human is ridiculous. In Genesis 1:26 where God makes "man", the Hebrew word used is "adam". The mission of Adam was not to proclaim the glory of God in the universe (which is Talmudic nonsense). The mission is clearly stated in Genesis 1:28 as "be fruitful and multiply". In other words the mission of all living things is evolutionary success. When I attended orthodox synagogue, I was taught that jews have both a divine soul and an animal soul but that non-jews only have an animal soul. This clearly implies that non-jews are basically animals. The victimhood mentality that the rabbi discusses at the end is in clear contrast to the lesson taught by the Old Testament. The first holocaust was the destruction of Judah by Babylon. The Old Testament makes clear that the fault was with the people of Judah for violating the Torah, and not with the people of Babylon. This point has been ignored by jews ever since, and they take the opposite of approach of blaming all their problems on others and never on themselves. But the truth is clear, all jewish suffering is a result of the fact that they violate the Torah through the application of the Talmud.

But Plato is important since he is the biggest source of evil in western culture. You can see how degenerates would use his methods to attack tradition.

A labeled button is a simple thing, and therefore good. Many buttons add some complexity but not much. This is just one simple concept being overused. In contrast, modern phones use all kinds of black magic to do things. Some have no on/off button but instead require pressing some combination of buttons in some unpredictable way. Doing things requires guessing nonsensical gestures that have no prompt, like swiping from off the screen. The whole user interface is a mess. But besides being incomprehensible, modern phones are also inflexible and can't be customized. The modern computer interface was designed in the 1970s at Xerox PARC under the direction of Alan Kay who said "Simple things should be simple, complex things should be possible." I agree with this design philosophy which one finds in computers. Smartphones take the exact opposite approach.

The difference between early Christians (including Jesus) and the modern Right is that the Christians were willing to act on their beliefs while the Right just talks, talks, talks, and does nothing.
