Five months... it had been five months since Max had abducted Y/N and they still had no clue as to where he had taken her. Clay was climbing up the walls by now with frustration and fear as to what was being done to her during this time.
Every time a possible location came up, they would rush to it without thought, only to find the lead to be a bust or that they had arrived too late, and she had been moved yet again.
Something was off... Clay could feel it in his gut. He wasn't exactly certain what it was but if he didn't know any better, it seemed to him that someone was tipping Max off whenever they were closing in on him. But who it was, was something he just couldn't seem to figure out.
Clay was interrupted from his thoughts by a knock at the door.
"The team is worried about you, so I volunteered to check up on you" Aisha remarks entering his bedroom.
"I'm perfectly fine" Clay responds not too friendly.
"Clay... you haven't been fine since the last location turned out a bust" Aisha frowns at him in concern.
"I'll be fine" Clay tries to brush it off. "What everyone needs to be concentrated on; is getting Y/N back and nothing else."
"We'll find her..." Aisha reassures him, placing a hand seductively on his shoulder.
"You seemed super stressed... maybe I could help in relieving some of it...?"
Both of Clay's hands shoot up in the air as he takes a few steps back from her, "sorry, but I can't... I don't see you in that way anymore."
Aisha silently studies him through narrowed gaze for a few seconds.
"OK..."
Clay couldn't help letting out the sigh of relief once she had left the room.
He had honestly thought she was going to press the matter further, to the point that he might have ended up revealing the real truth as to why he no longer wanted to sleep with her.
That he no longer saw her that way because he was In Love with Y/N.
That the only woman he wanted was, Y/N and she was the only woman he wanted for the rest of his life.
"Pooch might not have been that wrong about those wedding bells after all..." he utters out to the empty room.
A Few Weeks Later
Clay and the team where busy going over intel that Y/N's people had sent them when Jensen's laptop suddenly went off, indicating that there was an incoming video call from an unknown contact.
"Should I answer it?" Jensen looks to Clay for confirmation.
"It might have something to do with Y/N" Clay nods.
"Colonel Clay..." Max's smiling face pops up on the screen. "How are we doing this lovely evening...?"
"Cut the bullshit, Max" Clay remarks, silently seething from within.
"Now, Clay..." Max tsks at him. "Is that anyway to speak to the person holding your entire world in their hands?"
"What do you want Max?" Clay gritted his teeth in fury, while the rest of the team, excluding Pooch wondered what Max was referring to.
"Right down to business, shall we?" Max grins at him.
"Here's the deal; you have something dear to me and I have something dear to you..." The camera then shifts position, and your face comes into focus.
"Clay...?" you cry out at seeing him after such a long time.
"Baby...?!" Clay stares at you in disbelief.
Your hair was much longer now, the orange color almost non-existent as your natural hair had grown out during the five months you had been missing.
You seemed to be physically fine, the only thing that made Clay concerned though was the look of fear on your face; a reaction that he had never before till now seen you be.
The camera moves back to Max. "As you can see, the Colonel is being taken well care of."
"What are your demands?" Clay hisses out at him.
"Truly, Clay... you're no fun at all" Max sighs out mockingly.
"Ok, ok... the deal is as this, a straight swap; the Colonel for my hard drive."
"Deal" Clay immediately agrees without a second thought.
"Excellent! I'll have the location for the exchange sent to you."
With a deep scowl on his face, Clay nods in agreement.
"One more thing, Clay..." Max comments, with a huge grin.
"Here's a little motivation for you" Max remarks, raising his hand up to the camera.
Between the tips of his fingers was a picture of a sonogram. "Congratulations, Dad... It's a boy..."
Everyone's mouths fall open in silent shock then.
"If you don't believe me, here's more proof" Max remarks, and the camera moves back to you.
The camera slowly moves down from your face, finally stopping at your now very visible pregnant stomach.
"Safe to say, we were all surprised to find out the good news, even the Colonel herself" Max snickers at the look of utter shock on Clay's face.
"We'll be awaiting your arrival in a few days. And Clay... please don't do anything stupid. I hold the lives of your family in my hands, just remember that."
The connection cuts off then, and the entire room is silent as everyone stared bug-eyed at Clay.
Clay, not able to withhold the anger boiling up in him any longer; silently storms out the room in a fit of rage.
Jensen finally breaks the ice. "So, no one gonna bring up the fact that we just found out that Clay and Y/N/N are having a baby together?
"Bro, just don't" Pooch shakes his head at Jensen.
"What?" Jensen raises his shoulders in question. "Is no one here surprised to find out that they've been sleeping together?"
Everyone silently shakes their heads at him; not one of them even a bit surprised at it.
"Am I the only one that wasn't aware of it?"
"I figured it out when I saw him staring longingly at her picture" Pooch replies.
"Mine was when he declined sex from me" Aisha remarks.
"I just had a suspicion with how extremely obsessed he was with finding her" Cougar comments.
"So, I was the only one too dumb to figure it out?" Jensen scoffs out in disbelief, and everyone nods in agreement.
“Hey, how you doing?” Pooch asks approaching Clay.
Clay palms his face, exhaling heavily, “not good…”
Pooch nods in understanding.
“Can’t say I understand what you’re going through, because I can’t. Even though we were stuck in Bolivia when Jolene was pregnant, I at least knew she was safe.”
“I can’t get the look on her face out of my mind…” Clay mutters out.
“She was scared, Pooch… I’ve never seen her that way before.”
“Of course, she’s scared” Pooch remarks.
“It’s not only her life that she has to worry about, but she also has to worry about keeping the baby that’s inside of her safe.”
Clay nods, staring vacantly out in front of him.
“Our baby…”
“Your baby, yours and hers…” Pooch pats him on the back with a faint smile.
“We’ll get them back safely.”
“I pray you’re right, Pooch” Clay murmurs, continuing to stare blankly ahead.
“Well, that was quite eventful…” Max stares at you with that creepy smile of his.
“Soon I’ll have my drive back, and Clay and his team will be dead.”
“You double-crossing-son-of-a-bitch!” you snarl at him.
“Now, now Colonel… calm down. Don’t want you upsetting yourself and making my boy sick.”
“Your boy?” you scoff, staring at him in shocked confusion.
“What the fuck are you talking about?”
“Oh, that’s right…” Max smirks at you, “I didn’t let you in on the plan, now did I?”
“You see, it’s come to my attention that I’m not getting any younger. It then occurred to me; that one day, I would need an heir to take over my empire once I’m no longer here.”
“What the hell does any of that have to do with my son?”
“Why go through all the hassle of finding a suitable woman to birth that heir for me, when I have the perfect heir candidate incubating right in front of me already.”
“You’re insane if you think I’ll allow you to raise my child!”
“That’s the thing…” Max grins at you.
“You don’t have a say, because you’ll be dead along with your baby daddy and his team.”
“You’ll never get away with it!” you hiss out, rushing forward to slug him.
“Ah, ah, ah…” Max tsks, pointing down to your belly as two of his men grabs hold of each arm to restrain you.
“I believe that the Colonel needs her rest after today’s festivities” Max instructs them with a hand wave.
You shoot Max one last venomous glare as the two men lead you back to your room then.
“Has the intel from Max come in yet?” Clay asks Jensen upon entering back into the room.
“Just came in” Jensen nods, tapping away at the computer.
“We have the location and time of the exchange. All we need to do is gear up and head out.”
“Good” Clay nods, satisfied at all the information.
“Everyone, pack up and get ready to leave ASAP.”
Clay sat silently on the bed, staring at the laptop screen that had the screenshot of Y/N’s faced from the video chat of earlier.
He should be busy packing like the rest of the team, but he couldn’t fight the need to see her face again.
She looked completely terrified, and it killed him knowing that there was nothing he could do at the moment to comfort her.
Y/N was strong-willed; a woman that didn’t scare easily, that Clay knew without doubt. But right there, right in that video; she was a mother in fear for the safety of her child, their child…
Skipping to the next screenshot, Clay felt his eyes begin to burn from the tears that were threatening to spill as he stared at the sonogram of his unborn son.
A son that until a few hours ago he never even knew about. He and Y/N should have been celebrating and preparing for the arrival of their little boy, yet instead; he was prepping for a rescue mission to bring her back home.
“I promise that I’ll bring you and your Mama home safely” Clay utters out, placing his hand over the sonogram shot.

"They took her, Clay... The Col. is gone..." Jensen's words echoed on repeat in Clay's head as he quietly sat at the dinner table.
"Clay, what are we going to do?" Pooch asks but there's no response, "Clay?!"
"Huh?" Clay finally snaps out of his thoughts, staring at him in confusion.
"What are we going to do about getting the Col. back?" Pooch repeats his question.
"I..." Clay pauses, a blank fear filled stare crossing his features for a second, "I don't know..."
"What the hell, Clay?!" Jensen states in frustration, "we've got to come up with a plan to get her back and fast!"
"You the think that I don't fucking know that!" Clay yells, jumping out of his seat in anger. "I need to get some fucking air" he mutters, leaving the room in a rush.
Stepping out through the back patio door, Clay takes in a deep breath as he feels himself start to reel out of control internally. You have to fucking find her! His mind screams out at him. "Do you think I don't fucking know that!" Clay hisses out to himself, hands clutched tightly in his hair as he tries to regain some composure. Max could be busy torturing her at this very minute and I have no fucking clue of where she might be!
Once he had finally calmed down, Clay heads back inside. "Jensen! Contact Y/N/N's people, they'll be able to help us in locating her."
Tilting his head, Jensen stares at Clay in surprise; this was the first time that he's ever heard Clay refer to Y/N by anything other than her surname or Colonel.
"Jensen!" Clay yells, snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Yeah, contact Y/N/N's people..." Jensen states, "got ya... will be doing so right now..."
A few minutes later; "Clay!" Jensen calls out from the surveillance room. "Clay, this is General David Abrahams, he's the Colonel's supervisor" Jensen introduces him to man on the computer screen in front of them.
"General..." Clay greets him with a nod.
"Colonel..." the General nods in return, "what seems to be the problem?"
Letting out a tense breath, Clay begins to explain the situation. "I'm sure you're aware that, Colonel Y/L/N and I went undercover this evening at the club Max has been frequenting at."
The General nods his head, "that's correct, yes..." brows furrowed as he tries to figure out where Clay was going with the conversation. "Colonel Clay, where is Colonel Y/L/N?"
"That is the reason we called you" Clay sighs out in guilt, "we don't know..."
"What the hell do you mean; you don't where she is?!" the General yells out, "Colonel Clay, where is my girl?"
"Your girl?" Clay raises a brow at the General's reaction.
"I've known Y/N her entire adult life, she the daughter I never had" the General replies, "if anything has happened to her; I swear to God, there will be hell to pay!"
"Uh... if I may" Jensen then inserts himself into the conversation, "the last image we have of the Colonel; is her being escorted by Max's henchmen out the backdoor and into a waiting car. We're not sure where they took her to, when we realized something was wrong; it was already two hours after they had taken her."
"How they hell did you loose so much time?!" the General yells at him.
"That was entirely my fault" Clay admits, "I never should I have let her out of my sight, but she insisted that I should leave while she snooped around."
The General goes silent then as he studied Clay with narrowed eyes, "Jensen, would you mind leaving your Colonel and I alone to discuss this further."
Clearly picking up on the tension in the room between the two; Jensen gets up from his seat, silently eyeing both Clay and the General as he leaves.
"I'm going to be frank with you, Clay" the General stares him down, "I know about you and Y/N." Clay stares at him in surprise. "I told you; she's the daughter I never had" the General smirks at his reaction, "we're very close, so she confides in me about her life issues."
"Y/N and I have something going on, yes..." Clay admits, "Sir, you have to believe me when I say; that I would never have allowed anything bad to happen to her."
"I know, Son..." the General responds with a faint smile, "I can see why Y/N's allowed you so close to her." Clay furrows his brows; confused as to what the General means by his words.
"That girl doesn't allow people too close to her and definitely not in such a short time" the General explains, "especially after the way she lost her last unit. She guards her heart well but you, Clay... you managed to break through her defences and very quickly at that."
"I-I..." Clay finds himself speechless for a split second at what the General just said. "She's a remarkable woman, Sir" Clay faintly then smiles as he thinks about Y/N, "I've never met a woman quite like her."
"My girl's something special" the General smiles, "and she think your special too."
Clay smirks at the General's remark, "she does?"
The General nods, "and I'm guessing that the feeling is mutual."
"Is that obvious?" Clay chuckles.
"Yes, it is..." the General replies. "Clay, I want you to do us both a favour and bring our girl back home."
"Yes, Sir" Clay responds, voice filled with determination, "I promise you; that I'll find Y/N and bring her back home."
"Good" the General nods, "now let's talk business. I'm sure Y/N hasn't shown you 'the toy room'."
"Toy room?" Clay arches a brow in question.
"I was correct then" the General chuckles, "if you go to the game room, place you palm against the inner right side of the fifth row of the bookcase. I just had our security team enter your palm print in order to give you access to it."
"What is it?" Clay asks, curious as to what this 'toy room' could be."
"You'll see soon enough" the General responds, "I'll need you to call your computer nerd back in so that I can give him access to the funds you will need on this mission."
"Your country sure is very supportive with this mission" Clay tilts his head, surprised at all the money that was being put into tracking Max down.
"My Boy, you really are clueless, aren't you" the General chuckles and Clay's finds himself at a loss yet again with his response. "They gave us the sanction to go ahead with the mission but the funding is coming from Y/N herself."
Clay does a doubletake in surprise, "how?... how is she available to fund this all on her own? This house must have cost a fortune to rent and the way we've been living here as well."
"There's still quite a lot about Y/N/N that you have yet to learn; like that the house belongs to her, its one of many. She also co-owns of one the biggest security companies in the country" the General explains, "but we mostly deal on the down low in homeland security. Where do you think your government got the information that cleared your names. We sometimes assist other countries by digging deeper into the cesspool that is the criminal underworld; places where they can't reach, we find what they would never be able to come across. "
"We?" Clay tilts his head in curiosity.
"I'm her business partner" the General answers. "So, whatever you need in order to find Y/N, just let me know and I'll get it for you."
"Thank you, Sir" Clay responds, "but if I may ask. Why are you disclosing all this top secretive information to me?"
"Something tells me; that you'll be around for a while" the General smirks at him. "Now lets get started on finding my Girl, Colonel."
“We’re sorted, access to funding has been approved” Jensen informs Clay.
“Good. Now let’s go and see what this ‘Toy room’ that the General was talking is” Clay remarks leaving the surveillance room.
“Were they able to help in finding out where Max took her?” an anxious Pooch asks the minute Clay them entered into the game room.
“They’re working on it” Jensen answers, silently trying to figure out what was going on with Clay as he seemed to be looking for something by the bookcase.
“Clay…” Pooch calls out to him, having noticed his behaviour as well, “what are you looking for?”
Clay holds a hand out for him to be quite as he removes a stack of books from out of a shelve, placing his palm against the inner side of it.
“What the…?” Jensen loudly remarks as they watch the bookcase slowly pop outward and then slide to the side.
“Toy room…” Clay grins staring at the huge weapons room before him.
“Holy… crabsticks…” Jensen stares open mouth at the room.
“Question…” Pooch remarks, “how the heck did Y/N/N get this in here?”
“She owns the house” Clay replies as he took a closer look at the weapons on display.
“How?” a still dumbfounded Jensen asks.
“Ask no questions, hear no lies...” Clay responds, “you’ll have to ask her once we get her back.”
It had been a week now since Y/N/’s abduction and the closest information that Clay them had found was that she no longer was in the country. Where and how Max had managed to pull it off without it being picked up immediately was mystery to them all; a mystery that was eating Clay up alive from the inside.
“Jensen, any new information come in?” an extremely agitated Clay asks entering the surveillance room.
“Nothing solid” Jensen shakes his head in disappointment, “there has been multiple sightings but HQ hasn’t been able to verify any of them.”
“That’s not good enough!” Clay growls out in frustration, “there has to be some sort of trace of her or Max. They couldn’t have just disappeared off the face of the earth!”
Not being able to give Clay the answers he was seeking nor knowing how to handle him in the state that he was in; Jensen decides to step out of the room and leave to him to own thoughts.
Clay lets out a heavy sigh, dropping into the chair at the work station in defeat at the lack of progress in finding Y/N.
Staring up at the monitor screen that had Y/N’s picture up, a faint smile crosses Clay face as he longingly reached his hand out to trace over it. “You’re IN LOVE with her” Clay is suddenly caught off guard by Pooch, whom was standing in the doorway studying him.
Knowing that he could trust Pooch with seeing him this vulnerable, Clay turns to face him with a faint smirk. “Is it that obvious?”
“I’m a man that’s madly in love with his wife and I see that look you’re sporting each time I look into the mirror” Pooch remarks. “You guys make a good couple, I think you balance each other out well.”
“I think so too” Clay replies, “I have to find her, Pooch…” he sighs turning back to look at Y/N’s picture yet again.
“We will Clay...” Pooch pats him on the shoulder in reassurance, then suggestively remarks, “and I do believe I can hear wedding bells following after that.”
“Whoa… there…” Clay turns to stare at him with wide eyes, “I haven’t even told her how I feel and you’re already planning our wedding.”
“Clay… in your lifetime all the women you’ve been with have either tried or threatened to kill you and yet you’ve never shown any form of fear of them. Y/N has been the first and only woman that has managed to rattle your cage and put the fear of God in you like she does” Pooch smirks at him with a raised brow then, “and that my brother… is wifey material.”
“If you say so, Pooch…” Clay chuckles at his remark.
“Oh… I know so…” Pooch smiles in response, patting him on the back one last time, “I’ll leave you to it then…”
“Pooch…” Clay calls him back as he’s about to leaves the room.
“Yeah?” Pooch turns to look at him.
“Could we keep this just between us for now?” Clay requests of him.
“Sure thing…” Pooch smiles at Clay and leaves the room to give him some privacy.
Two weeks had passed by now, when a fixed location on Y/N had finally come through, Clay and the team immediately hopped onto a private plane and headed to it.
“I don’t understand…” a confused Jensen looks around the vacant estate they had just stormed into a few seconds ago.
“What the hell Jensen?!” a furious Clay yells out as he comes back from having searched the first floor. “You said she was here!”
“She’s supposed to be” Jensen responds, “according to the intel we got, Max was holding Y/N here.”
“Well, she isn’t here, now is she!” Clay yells looking as if wanted to physically attack Jensen.
“Hey… you need to calm down” Pooch holds Clay back, trying to calm him. “Clay… you need to keep a clear head. If you lose the plot, then we run the risk of losing Y/N.”
Letting out a heavy sigh of defeat, “you’re right” Clay nods. “Look… I’m sorry about that” he remarks to Jensen in apology.
“It’s ok” Jensen replies, “I understand… I’m just as pissed as you are. I don’t understand what happened, she was confirmed to have being held here.”
Clay gives him a dead eye stare for a second then shakes his head and walks away to compose himself. Jensen could never understand his state of being pissed at not having found Y/N. He was frustrated that they hadn’t managed to find their missing team member, Clay’s was on a totally other level; the woman he LOVED was still gone and he didn’t know whether he’d ever see her again.
“Boss!” Cougar calls out as he ran down the stairs to join them on the ground floor.
“What is it, Cougar?” Clay looks at him in desperate hope.
“I found something on the second floor that you have to see” Cougar informs him.
“While going from room to room, I came across the last one and found it to be strange, you'll see what mean…” he explains, pointing to the bedroom door once they had reached it.
“That’s one heavily secured door…” Jensen whistles with a tilt of his head as he stared at the heavy duty locks attached to the outside of it.
“They were making sure that the person inside wouldn’t escape” Clay muttered, immediately rushing into the room.
“It’s empty…” Jensen breathes out in disappointment.
“Looks like there definitely was a woman being held in here” Pooch remarks while searching through the room.
“The question is; was it, Y/N?” Clay remarks in response.
“Here’s nothing that points to it being her” Jensen comments heading for the bathroom to search next. “Guys, you’ll want to see this!” he calls out to them.
“What you find?” a wide-eyed Clay rushes into bathroom.
“Y/N definitely was here” a hyped-up Jensen informs them.
“How do you know that?” Clay asks.
With a confident smile, Jensen points to the bottom left corner of the mirror where the word; REAPER was written in eyeliner.
“How does that prove it was Y/N?” a confused Clay stares at it.
“Because, Reaper…” Jensen broadly smirks at him, “is the name of the Col.’s dog.”
*****
“They couldn’t have gotten too far…” Clay remarks as they exit the mansion. Everyone suddenly stops dead in their tracks as they notice the person standing in front of them.
“Hey there fellas…” Aisha greets them with a smirk.
“How did you know we’d be here?” a surprised Clay asks her.
“I finally managed to get in touch with her and gave her the rundown about everything” Jensen speaks up.
Clay nods in response, silently studying Aisha with a narrowed gaze. “Where have you been this entire time?”
“Out and about” she answers with a shrug.
Clay continued to silently study her as Y/N’s previous words of suspicions surrounding Aisha played through his mind.
“What’s the plan now, Clay?” Jensen interrupts his train of thought.
Clay shakes his head to clear it, “we’ll step up base here until we’ve figured out where Max took her. I want you on call with HQ the second we settle into a hotel.”
Everyone nods their heads in agreement with him and they take their leave of the area. During the ride to the hotel, Clay makes the decision to keep a close eye on Aisha; there definitely wasn’t something right with her answer to her whereabouts and his gut was telling him to take Y/N’s advice about her to heart.
If there was one thing he learnt about Y/N so far; it was that his LADY’s gut instincts where never wrong.
After Y/N is abducted by Max during a undercover sting operation, Clay and the rest of The Loser battle against the clock to find her. Will Clay be able to save the woman he loves before its too late? Part of 2 of the Psycho Lady Colonel story.

Clay and the rest of The Losers were making their way to the parking lot after Jensen's altercation with the referee at his niece's soccer game.
"NBA?" Pooch shakes his head chuckling, "really Jensen?"
"What?" Jensen shrugs his shoulders in response, "she looks like she could be Shack's sister.
Aisha tilts her head then deep in thought, "if you think about it... she kind of does." Everyone bursts out in laughter then at her remark.
"Boss. 12'o clock..." Cougar calls out, tilting his head to the direction of Clay's car.
Looking toward it, Clay notices a woman casually leaning against the back of his car, staring back in their direction. Jensen becomes more serious then, "what do you us to do, Clay?"
Clay remains silent as he closely sizes the woman up the nearer they get to the car. She was dressed in tight black skinny jeans, dark blue short-sleeved shirt, leather vest corset and black biker boots.
"Stay alert, lets see what she wants and then we decide what to do about her" Clay gives the orders.
Once they reach the woman, Clay is slightly caught off-guard by her for a second. She seemed to be on the curvaceous side in body type, but in all the right places. Not only that, but she was quite short, her head seeming to be able to fit directly under Clay's armpit.
Scanning her appearance more closely, Clay notices that her tied up hair was orange in colour, the front sides were shaven, she had multiple ear piercing, along with both of her forearms were covered in tattoos. Most definitely something mysterious about this woman. He thinks to himself.
"Lt. Col. Franklin Clay?" you directly address Clay once they stop in front of you.
Clay narrows his eyes in suspicion, "who wants to know?"
You remove your sunglasses and flashes him a smile, "your soon to be new best friend..."
Damn! Clay is thrown further off-guard then at the sparkly glint in her eyes.
Clay raises a brow at her then, "why would I want you as my best friend?"
"Because we both have something very huge in common..." you respond with a smirk.
"Which is what exactly?" Clay challenges you with a question.
"The need to hunt down and kill Max" you reply with a deadly look in your eyes.
Clay now curious at your reply, asks, "why are you after Max?"
With a vicious like sneer on your face you spit out in response, "he killed my entire team. I want my damn revenge for what he did!"
Clay tilts his head at you then, "you're not from here, are you?"
"Oh, where has my manners gone to..." you chuckle out at his remark. Reaching your hand out, you introduce yourself then, "I'm Lt. Col. Y/N, Y/L/N from the South African Military force."
"South African Military..." Clay looks at you in surprise, "you're far away from aren't you."
"Considering what that bastard put me through..." you hiss out, your voice filled with venom, "you can bet your ass I'll be willing to travel to hell and back to see him dead at my feet."
Whoa! Volatile female alerts! Clay silently thinks to himself in amusement. Why does the universe always throw them in my path?
"Tell me, Col. Y/L/N how do I know you're really who you say you are?" Clay challenges you.
You lift your hand up, waving a flash-drive at him, "with this lil baby over here. Your I.T geek can check it out to verify my story."
Jensen goes to get his laptop then while Clay keeps his eyes narrowed at you in concentration.
"Let's see..." Jensen begins then, "Lt. Col. Y/N, 'Y/N/N', Y/L/N. Age, 35. Born in Western Cape, South Africa. Joined the military straight after graduating high school at age 17. Moved up the ranks quickly with top scores in all forms of training. Specializes in sniper, heavy-duty weapons, hand to hand combat, as well as a degree in Behavioural Psychology. Codename; Grim-Psycho, former commander of special black-ops; The Reapers. Deceased as of four months ago. Gunned down during an operation gone wrong."
"So... are you channelling The Green Goblin or The Hulk with your hair style here?" Jensen looks at you in curiosity as he shows Clay your I.D picture in which your hair was in a pixie-cut, your sides were black and the top bright green.
"The Joker actually..." you flash him a smug smile, "if you look further, you'll see it was purple before that."
Lo and behold, there it was; you with a short purple bob-cut. This woman is like a damn chameleon. Clay thinks to himself. "So, you're a ghost then?" he looks at you then.
"You can say so..." you shrug, tilting your head with a smirk, "you guys should know all too well about that, right?"
Clay then narrows his eyes even further, "how did you even get into the country if your ghosting?"
Snapping into a more serious mode, you scan the surrounding area then respond, "is it possible to continue this in a more secure place?"
Clay does the same then, "follow us to our base, we can continue there."
You followed them at a careful distance as they lead the way to their base of operations. During the drive, you couldn't help but worry whether trusting these idiots was a good idea or not. The Losers? What kind of a name is that for a military unit? You think to yourself. Then again, they all seem like a bunch of clowns, especially the one named Jensen.
Finally reaching what seemed to be an abandoned warehouse, Clay and his team get out of their vehicles, motioning for you to follow them inside.
Attaching your gun holsters to sides of your corset, you make your way towards the entrance but before you could step a foot into the building; you're stopped by the one named Pooch. "Sorry Lady, but we don't know you that well yet. So, I'm gonna need you to those over" he points to your guns.
"Fair enough" you shrug, taking them off and handing it over to him.
"So, Col. Y/L/N, you were about to tell us how you ended up here and why you're looking to kill Max" Clay stares at you casually from his seated position.
"As you're all aware, my run-in with Max started four months ago, exactly after you guys had your own with him" you continue on to explain then, "my team was deep undercover in a drug operation, our main target was to capture Max. We never got to interact with him personally though, we only had dealings with his right-hand man; Wade, I'm sure you all have met him."
Clay nods at you, Jensen then snickers, "yeah, he's shishkabob now..." Clay shoots him a look and you shake your head and continue on. "We were under for a month when things suddenly went to shit. Our cover got blown somehow and with the last meeting, we ended up walking into an ambush. My entire team was wiped out and I ended up in a two-month coma."
Clay looks at you even more curious then, "how did you manage to go ghost and make your way here?"
"Went into cardiac arrest twice on the way to hospital and slipped into a coma thereafter" you explain, "they decided to declare me DOA. No one but my HOO knew that I was alive, that was until a few weeks after I had awoken from my coma. Your government contacted mine, they wanted our assistance in tracking down Max."
Clay closely listens to your story. Damn! We only nearly got blown up and were declared dead, but her team got the actual firing-squad turned loose on them and she actually survived it.
"Our government... yeah right" Cougar sneers out in disgust, "you must be joking. Max is government."
You shake your head at him, "they know Max is behind Bolivia and about all his other illegal dealings. That's why they asked for me personally, to make contact to with you guys and assist in any way possible in getting Max." You tilt your head in an obvious manner, "why do you think you guys haven't been taken into custody yet, or had the luxury of attending the soccer game you were at." Shaking your head in disapproval you remark, "you guys stick out like sore thumbs..."
Clay nods his head in understanding then, "I guess you'll be joining our team and working under my lead."
"Nooo..." you shake your head at him in correction, "I'll be collaborating with your team and leading alongside you..."
"Listen here Lady..." Clay growl at you with a glare, "I don't know who you think you are... but I'm the one in charge here and you do whatever I say!"
Arching a brow at him, you then respond, "last I checked, I'm the one that was specially sent to help you idiots. Also, you'll never be able to track down Max without the information that I have in my possession."
"Idiots?!" Aisha snaps, looking as if she's about to go at you, "did she just call us idiots?!"
Shooting her a smirk, you stand ready to fight, "did I stutter or something? I'll gladly repeat it if you want me to."
"Actually... we're more like clowns than idiots" Jensen remarks matter-of-factly out of the blue, causing you to suddenly burst out laughing.
"That's exactly the other world that comes to mind!" you chuckle out smirking at him, "I'm really beginning to like you Jensen."
Whoa! Clay stares at you then. Her reactions just did a 360 in a split second!
"Thank you, Lady Col...." Jensen smiles at you, "I do believe, I'm starting to like you too..."
"And why's that, Jensen?" Pooch smirks at his remark.
"One; she sounds like a Badass..." Jensen states running them down with a count of his fingers in a serious tone, "two; she puts Clay in his place so easily..." Pooch and Cougar burst out with laughter, "you're actually right there!"
You smugly smirk at the remarks, "so, all in favour of the two Colonels co-leading, raise your hand!" you declare raising your own.
Simultaneously everyone then raises their hands, while Clay raises a brow of betrayal at them all. "What?" Aisha shrugs her shoulders, "it's fun watching her rattle your cage."
"And we like her!" the guys all in state union.
"Then it's settled!" you announce with a huge grin, "shall we get started, partner..."
Clay drops his head defeat. This is going to be one hell of ride...
"Can I have my guns back now?" you flash Clay sweet smile.
"Sure..." Clay grumbles in response, "Pooch, give the Col. her guns back."
Pooch hands them back to you, "The Pooch really likes you, Lady Col."
"Why do they refer to you as the Grim-Psycho?" Jensen stares at you in curiosity then.
"You'll have to wait and see to understand why..." you flash him a huge grin.
Clay then interrupts seeming quite irritated, "Ok, Losers back to work!"
"Is he always this moody?" you ask Aisha.
"Most of the time yeah" she chuckles, "with you here it's much funnier though."
"Glad to be of service then..." you jokingly shrug your shoulders.
Clay shoots you a glare then, "what intel do you have for us so far Col.?"
"Here you go..." you hand him another drive, teasingly remarking then, "Clay, you can call me; Y/N/N. We are partners now after all..." Clay scowls at you in response as he takes it, handing it over to Jensen then.
"According to this, our boy; Max is currently hiding out in the Lady Col's home country. To be specific; Johannesburg." Jensen runs through the files, "it seems he's been busy parting from one high-end gentlemen's club to another."
"He's smart" you hiss out, "going to one of the busiest and high crime rated cities."
Pooch then directs his attention to you, "he was just around the corner from you then. Why come over here? Why not immediately go after him instead then?"
"I was ordered not go after him by myself" you shrug in response, "first part of my mission was to meet up with you guys."
"So, we're going to South Africa then?" Cougar asks then.
"Yup" you nod your head smiling in response to him.
"Yes!" Jensen fist pumps into the air, "we're go to South Africa!" causing Clay to shake his head at his outburst. "And how do plan for us to get there?" Clay questions you then.
"Everything's taken care of..." you respond, removing fake passports and I.D's from the secret pockets of your corset. "Arrangements have been made, everything that is needed will be waiting for us once we land."
Clay takes them from you, scanning through them carefully. "Here's the number you can contact me on" you then hand him a card, "be ready to leave in three days' time."
