Just posted a new chapter of The Devil You Don't, my self-insert Obey Me drama longfic 💜

I definitely felt this Pop Quiz was fairly boring. I'm really hoping that thing that happened at the end of Lesson 60 will add some new options for how storylines play out. However my gold-standard personal-evaluation for a good pop-quiz (or lesson, for that matter) is that if I usually have something playing in the bg - a movie, a tv series etc. - and I have to actually rewind to review what's been said in the movie/tv show, the pop quiz is pretty on-point. Conversely, if I have to use the log to find out what's been said on the pop-quiz - well, opposite's true.

Oh that's a pretty good scale of whether the story is interesting enough to keep your attention! I wonder how the events have been trending for you recently, because I felt like we were on an upwards trend but this one kind of put a wrench in that

I haven't made it up to Lesson 60 yet, but I'm really excited to learn what you're talking about and hopefully look forward to what it could mean! I'm not gonna try very hard on this event so maybe it's the perfect time to catch up lol

If Beel or Mammon didn't exist, I'd be sobbing. I guess though, I would probably go with Simeon. I think he's got the potential to be so, so interesting and I wish the plot line would hurry up and get to what they're teasing about him already.

Mammon and Lucifer are both equally bugged by horror movies. Someone will have acquired a Mammon shaped burr by the end of the film. Lucifer however will sit through and then go back to his room and put every possible spell, deterrent and defence up so no one will see him burrowed under his blankets sleeping with the lights on.

Dear Beel: How exactly would you help me with stretching?

Oh, do you want to work out with me? Cool. I could always use a gym buddy.

If you need help with stretching, I could demonstrate how to do it, I guess. It takes practice to get good at it, though. So it’s fine if you aren’t that flexible at first.

*cries in bachelor* I’ve had four months to do this, but I still waited this long to write it up. I have all the resources and information I need, but ...IGH.
